New Beginning!

I am back to my blog! Finally i have the free time to blog. I guess ive been too busy with dragonboat training and school work for the past few months. Race and common test finally over! Phew!~ Hahahha! This sem, i only took 3 papers for this common test, how great is that right. But i felt i will fail the test, coz i know i didnt do well for the papers. When the results are out, i was quite surprise to see that i had passed all my modules, really amazing. If i were to study earlier and listen to class more, i can do much better for sure. ahahah! Sem exam are getting nearer, time to study hard.

11 july 2010 was the day we made history! We, NYPDB won the POLITE MEN GOLD MEDAL! Thanks to all my teammates, the yr3 and my batch yr2. Without the support from all of u guys, our dream of this gold medal will not come true. We had proven other schools that we are the top poly. Our effort had paid off. Ive to thanks my coach patrick for his incredible coaching and his effort, we have been improving tremendously ever since he had took over. Also thanks tongsheng, our assistant coach, who came down for every training to coach us during our preparation for polite. Next few races would be sava sprints and regatta 2010, we are so gonna train hard and win glory for our school once again! BELIEVE is the key to success! BELIEVE in one another! BELIEVE is NYPDB! Im so gonna train freaking hard from next week onwards. Lastly i wont forget the day we had own the polite men GOLD medal, it will be inside of me forever!

Since i changed my phone right, ive been buying casing and searching for stuffs to pimp my iphone. Recently i jus bought 2 casing for my iphone, a INCASE orange casing and a red casing for jus 11bucks. Got to know this blogshop, www.tingsin.blogspot.com, they are selling iphone casing at damn cheap price! I ever thought of selling iphone casing as a small business, but i wonder if it can make good business. maybe next time. Jus today, i bought a sliver/grey carbon fiber sticker for my iphone from a guy who customize it himself, at only 8bucks! Its damn nice pls! A pic for u guys to drool over for. HAHAHHA!

OMGoodness!! Im freaking bored now, so decided to blog? Yeah, i know i didnt blog for such a long time already. Life as usual, happy always! hahaa! Ended sch today at 11am, reach home at about 1130am. And was doing nth until now, been clicking here and there. haiyo, too bored, dunno wad else to say. kns! Been kinda stress up for certain stuffs, hopefully things turn up well. Bad stuffs pls SHOOOO away!

OMG, i had not blog for freaking long time, dead blog of mine.

Last few weeks/months, was busying preparing for semester exam. I still able to cope with this semester studies though, hopefully my gpa will not drop dramatically. Haha!
For the past few weeks, right after exams, db intense training starts, every morning theres rowing, and some days we got to self training at gym. Attendances now are seriously bad, somedays theres many ppl, somedays theres only afew. Worst was that, there are alot of left rowers, sibei sian, we are actually competing with each other for a slot to race for our next coming race, MR500. Im gonna strive hard to get a slot for myself, and also my teammates to work harder.

Bought a PS3 after my exam. Been addicted to it ever since i bought it. Ive been playing fifa10, mostly playing online with other players from all over the world. And recently i joined a local leagues, its damn exciting, playing a the top spot. For those who had a PS3, and is playing fifa10, pls do add me, PSN ID: Liauw.
Went to a one day camp last week i think, its a leadership camp, whereby all leaders from all kinds of cca join together. Suppose to reach sch by 8am, but ive got dental appointment, so i went sch after my appointment. Was in grp10, the guys/gals were fun and nice. Met alot of new frens. haha!
Had been working too, i dunno why, but now my pocket money like easily been spent away. Had to work to have addition of pocket money. Last week, worked for IT fair, selling acer lappies. Not bad though, new experiences, met new frens. However, me and my bro were been dismissed on the 3rd day, due to some slack-gi-ness, chit chatting with other company promoters. Hahahah, like a joke loh. Am lucky, we earn about 300-400 for these 3days. Not bad.

Hey Hey You You!

I felt like i had not blog for very long. Today is the last day of the first week of term 2, times pass extremely fast. Many things/test coming ahead, getting much stressed up. Got one of my test result back today, i got a C, which consider is one of the lower ones in class. Only 2 got C, which is me and my fren, and one D. The rest got A, if not a A+, sibei good! Top class! Gonna work double hard now for better grades. DB training also just started not long ago, and im so chui! Running was the worst of all, couldnt hit my coach time. Physical test is coming up real soon, next thurs, 250m individual rowing on next sat. Basically this test is for coach to choose the 25 rowers out of 32 of us for the up coming race in march. Time is runing out!
Test Components are :
Dead Lift - 2x body weight
Bench Press - 1x body weight, max reps
Upper Arm Crank - 0.5x body weight, max reps
Running 2km - Below 8min 30sec
Every components i have confidence, but not all i can excel. My potential ones are Dead lift(my best station), and probably bench press. Upper arm crank, i think also soso. Running is the most chui one. No matter what im gonna give all in for this test and get into the main team. Go Louis!
Met sunshine after class, she came to sch to meet me, we then took train down to somerset with anthony. Went there to collect my pay, 120bucks, didnt sound much, but its alot to me. LOL! Went to wisma to see crocs, sunshine wants to buy me for my birthday present, and yay i bought one dark brown beach crocs. Thanks sunshine, love you! Went to ion to walk walk, afterwhich to cine and to taka to have our dinner at Ambush. Their pasta was nice, beat pastamania totally, for their price, and the food. Highly recommended, its located inside the taka food mall at B2. hehhee. We took train home then. I had a happy day with u today, and hope to have happy times with u always. Cheers! Love you!

Oakley Radar Custom

Weeeee!!! YaY!!!!

Got my brand new custom Oakley Radar yesterday night. Carbon fibre frame + red icon + red ear socks + positive red irdium lens. How cool can this pair of oakley be. Sold my remote control away for 280, and sold some other misc items to fund for this pair of Radar. I am loving it mannx. Ytd night, sunshine, mummy, sis accompany me to buy this cool Radar. Tried afew pairs, the one i bought is the best of all, even sunshine said that. Later on, the guy recommended me ear socks for my Half Jacket, it was just cheap to resist, FYI, everything is authentic! Bought myself a metallic orange ear socks to match with my lens and orange icon, after 15mins of fitting, a brand new half jacket was born. Just cant wait to wear them for rowing and other purposes. WOooooo!

Going camp in a hours time, WSC camp. Hope it will be fun. Cheers!

Bought it on 17/2/2007 at C.E.D.S sportwear at vivo, still got the receipt with me. Its almost 3 years old.

Condition of the shade is 7/10. Lens got afew scratches but u got to see it closely to see. One of the lens got some minor chip off, as i dropped it. Other then that, everything is well maintain.

It comes with the original cloth cover, and a casing.

Penang Pesta Dragon Boat Race

Im back from Penang, yay! Didnt have time to blog till now, was busy with common test ytd.

Trip was alright, kinda fun. The coach was the best i ever taken, its huge, and it has a personal tv and one bus steward to serve us. Bus ride was fast and very comfortable, left sg at 11pm, reached penang at around 7-8am. Hotel room is very big, not bad. Settled down, and later off we went for our water trial at the race venue. We gonna race along the coast, its beautiful, nice place. Went down to practice our sets. It was low tide by then, and it was so freaking gross, as the water was black in color, and the water smell like rotten eggs. After practice, we went back holiday to bathe and later went to a nearby mall, called bukit jambul, 5mins walk to the mall. Ate Johnny roger, it was sucks, but no choice to finish it. Went to BJ mart to buy foods/drinks for the next 2days.

Day2. Woke up 6+ in the morning. Went down to the 'cafe' area to have our breakfast, their cafe was like a room with tables. Their food sucks, and i didnt eat much. At 7.40, we set off to our destination. First few race was the 1km event, my team was the first few to go down and race, and we were in straight final. Result was, we won third in the 1km small boat event, WOOO! Our very first medal, im so happy. Next was 500m, didnt manage to get into the final, but we did well. Went back to hotel, bathe and gathered at lobby. We followed coach to a food hawker place to eat, the food there was awesome and extremely cheap! We ordered alot of food, and drinks, and each of us only pay around 20RM, only 5 ppl. Went to buy hotdogbun for tmr breakfast, as i know tmr hotel breakfast will be suck as well. Took taxi back to hotel, and BOOM to the bed. ZZzzZZZ!...

Day3. As usual.. Day3, i race alot, as i helped senior boat to row, shiok! Day3 was quite dramatic. The starter kept restarting the race, delaying all the races. The last race was held almost at the dark. Packed up and left the place, with a few wins, well done! Dinner, we went to some place where its located at another coast area, the food there was okay compare to day2. But there were many many many stores, ate alot too, and i paid only about 20-30RM. Cab back to hotel, went to jack's room to play blackjack. Took out 11RM to play, told them if i lose 11RM, i will go back to my room and sleep. At first i kept losing, my luck came out of a sudden, i kept winning and winning and winning. After awhile, i became the banker, and i still win, i always got the card wad i wanted.. Even if i lose, im happy to lose, as i had win alot of money. We played till 3+am, and i had won total of 144RM. Off to bed without bathing, as i was too tired.

Day4. Woke up at around 8am, packed my bags, and gathered at the lobby. Didnt eat their provided breakfast, as its cui. Collected our first medal, happy man! Board the coach and off we go. Dennis suggested to stop at A&W for lunch, bus driver agreed. First stop was at some petrol station, theres KFC, dunkin donuts. Bought some donuts, and a mini set of KFC. Next stop was at a stop where theres shops, many shops to eat, and yay! theres A&W, treated my teammates fries, as waffles/hotdogbun was all out of stock. Board the bus after 1hr, and off we go for Singapore. Reached singapore custom at about 8 at night. And we reached farrer park at about 830. Daddy/Mummy came to fetch me, and my mum surprised me, she brought amanda along, when i looked into the car, i thought it was my sis, but no it was amanda, i was shock and very happy to see her. hehe! Miss her everyday, want to call her, but it was expensive to do so, so i didnt. Yeah now im back! She came to my house for awhile and i sent her home. For the entire trip, i spent roughly 200RM.:D

Day2 SRR

Awesome day! Reached raffles place at 7am, ate breakfast at mac. First race was 10am+, it was the mens open semi, went to warm up and did some simulations, but i didnt went for the race set. Senior boat got 1st in the semi, and went into the grand final, i was so freaking happy, saw coach jumping after hearing that NYP got 1st and will be in the grand final. Next was our mixed boat race, did our best, but finished with a 4th placing. Row with no regrets! We will do better for the next regatta and for all races in future. Gurls team did extremely well too, they got into the minor and plate finals, and got gold for both event. A clap for them! Well done gurls! Next up was the tertiary men final, NYP was against SIM,NP,RP,NTU. Tough race, but the seniors did damn well, came in 2nd place for mens tertiary. Mens open grand final was a nerve shocking race, me and my teammates was on the other side of the river to watch their race while running. We started to run when the race horn was blown. The boat in lane3 was quickly pulled away from all the other boats, NYP coming in strong from behind, about the 150m mark, NP started to push forward and were neck to neck with NYP, at about the last 50m mark, all boats was close, so close that all boat looks in line with each other. All boats enter the finishing line together, and i cant judge which team came in first, NP rowers which were also running with us thought they had won, happily shouting here shouting there. When we got back, the result was, NYP got 3rd, Safra 2nd, SIM 1st. And where NP?? Behind NYP! muahahahahah! LMAO! oh yeah, blogging what i wanna blog. Cool! :) Well done again seniors! WE gonna work harder for the next race, and get a medal back! SaaaAAahahahHHhH! LOL!

Singapore River Regatta

Yooo peeps! Just got back from Singapore River Regatta Day1.

Met Jack and ChengWee at 7am, and head down to raffles place. On the way, we met my fellow teammates. Bla bla bla! reached there about 7.45am, and there were already many teams gathering at their spot. We settled down, and did warm-ups around raffles place. First race was the tertiary open, our seniors came in first in tat race. Next up was the mens open. Coach picked me and benny to join the senior boat, for more power. We were sianz after hearing that, as we wanna row together with out teammates. Talked to coach, but still ended up in senior boat. Went down to race, all boats were quite close from what i saw. Well done guys, all of u did well! The ladies did well too, both nyp A & B womens got into the semis, very happy for them. Yeah, now to mixed race, the mixed race was the best race i did today, the feel was there, it was fast, timing was good. Got a 3rd placing, though we got 3rd, we managed to get into the semis for mixed. Erm ya, so theres about it. Tmr will be our semis, and finals. Gonna aim for a medal!! photos will be uploaded once i got them from jiexin.

Sunshine, thanks for coming down and support me. Although i didnt have time to entertain u, but i was thinking about u. Hehehe!
Few days again, me and my clique started our food trip, we went to bugis to have steamboat, ate alot sliced pork and crabby. then went gelyang for king of the durian. Nice!! Looking forward to the next food trip!

Wooohooo! nothing much to blog about. recently been busy with db training, soooo tired!! Singapore Regatta Race is coming very soon, next week 21-22nov 2009, held at Singapore river. Was actually pacer for our boat, but ended up at the back pack, coach wants me to provide more power at the back, as the back is kinda weak. tired of blogging about db.

Yeah! Im in a relationship with someone, yeah someone. Most of u may know who. I dunno how to describe her, but i really like her character and personality alot! Love ya! <3

I shall blog today, requested by Amanda. hahaha.. Ermm recently i was super duper busy with things i do. Last sat/sun, went down to NUM office for 2 long days of training. Learnt about the num products, quality and sales techniques and what u can think of. LoL! was posted to city link mall outlet no.2 for work, am on standby on fri, and am confirm working on this coming sat and sun, 5-10pm. Hopefully it will be fun to work.

Last sat, we suppose to have training or rather time trial at kallang river. But we got a very last min call from the seniors and fengru that it had been cancelled. And me, jack, and chengwee were already on the way there. We alighted at seragoon station and called up our fellow teamates. SOon i headed home, and went out for num training.
Last sun, it was the time trial day. All of us were nervous, and some of us were afraid that we cannot do well. I didnt have much confidences as it was my first time doing this trial, but i just whack and did my best, it resulted a good timing of 2.32 mins, im very happy with it. ALthough my strokes were not perfect, but i was happy with it. Gonna improve in my strokes and catch of the water. Something happened when all of us were waiting for our turn to row. Before our rowing began, we ran 2 rounds around seletar, and there were those indian 'gangster' sitting at one corner drinking and chitchatting. Ran past them, one of the idiot shouted, 'left,right,left,right....' same goes to the 2nd round we did. But we didnt care about tat idiot. stretched ourselves, and rest. suddenly, tat idiot came shouting at one of the senior, was shocked. tat idiot buddy pull him away and went to the toilet to refill water. They came back with a hand holding a belt with sharp edges, i saw it and i quickly took a paddle to standby. One of my senior stood up and confronted him, face to face talk. More and more stood up, the idiot's fren came up. nice show mannx. my coach saw the incident and came up to stop the talk, and everything was settled. Think they are afraid of our coach. hahaha. and i bet they are not match fighting with us. and yeah that about it...
Bought myself a adidas bag, a very big one to store my db items, lappy, sch staffs etc. At a very cheap price, 30bucks. hopefully it will last long enough. Brought the bag to sch today, my fren said that i look like running away from home with the bag hahaha..

School School

Its great to step into the lecture room, and tutorial room, to see all my classmates and new classmates. For this sem, few of other classes had swap with my previous sem classes, thus new faces, new classmates. From what i see these few days, the ppl from other class are quite funny and active, which i think its good, rather then a quiet lecture and when its time to pay attention we pay attention. Its been a week in sch, and tons of work/projects are piling up. Stress!!

DB training is getting fierce now, we got training everyday except for friday(restday). Every tues,wed,thurs, i got to wake up at 530AM, and leave house at 6AM for rowing at 630AM. Land training as usual on tues and thurs evening. Additional training on monday and wed noon. ALot Hor!? Hardly have time to rest and go out to have fun. Tmr training will be our time trial, solo for 300m. Nervous siol.. Created my own cheer for myself, 'LOUIS, SHHAAAAAAAAA!' aahahahhaa.!

Got a part time job for myself, guess where im working at.

Kinda happy that i got in, can earn some money to spend, and work. But this job came in the wrong timing, as this month is my busiest time, i've got to study, go for DB training. One of the staff called me today and ask which day i can work next week, told him sat and sun evening shift. Know what he told me after tat, '2 days only ah?' I was like wtf! I checked my timetable and gave him another work slot on wed. And ShiT, after our conversation, i rmb i got rowing on wed evening, was totally sian 100%. Tmr will be a very long day, rowing first, then num training, then celebrate jackson's birthday. Haven even buy present for him.

Got to manage time well from now on! Study Hard! Train Hard!

Kayak River Clean Up

This morning was a fun morning. Went to Pasir Ris Park for a river clean up. My dad fetch me and pick up sheila at hougang mrt station, head down to Pasir Ris Park. Reached there at about 6.45am, we thought we were first to reach before our teammates, but no, they were already assembling at the water venture holding area. Luckily we walked in, if not we gonna wait outside for nth. Put my bag in the room, took my tee and off to gather. Ate my mac breakfast while listening to the person in-charge briefing. Took our gears and off we go to collect our kayaks. Its my first time kayaking, forgotten whether did i kayak before in the past. Its fun kayaking with all my teammates. We kept crashing into each other, as we dont really know how to steer well, but after sometime, we got better. Gather on the water, awaiting for our VIP, Mr Teo, Minister of defence to arrive. He arrived and off we went behind him. My partner is Mendez btw, he sat in front, while i sat behind doing the steering part. We saw TV crew in a speed boat, and was following mr teo, so theres sure some shooting and probably appear on tv. Thus, we quickly paddle up to him, but we did not catch up till the place we were suppose to clean up. Mr Teo was cleaning up in the same area as we do, so the tv crew was following. Some of my seniors were being interviewed. We collected quite alot of trash, such as plastic wrappers, trolley etc. Oh yeah, the water at the river was damn freaking super duper dirty and smelly. Water was filled with foam, bubbles, and color was in dirty green. But it was really fun and full of laughter. After like an hour of cleaning up, we head back, on the way back, rain falls however only for a short while. Along the way, we holded on to a speed boat, and were dragged by it, relaxation mannx. ahaha.. Got out of the river, we gathered for a head count, then head back to our starting point. Me and Mendez did afew charge sets, and we dunno why and how the earth the kayak kept going to the right. Kept our kayak, gears and went to wash up. Took bus back to NYP, showered and went back home for lunch and a nap. Just now watched news on chn8, theres a part on our river clean up, how awesome is that, but i was not seen in the tv. Although i did not appear on the tv, it was just cool to watch all NYP dragonboater, kayakers and adventure clubber paddling in a big group wearing red. Overall, its a fun day!

Tmr starting sch already. Long time didnt see my classmates. Got my new timetable, i think my timetable quite good. I've got 3 days starts at 12pm, tues/thurs ends at 6pm. Which is good, i can go straight to training after class. And i can go home to rest abit after morning rowing and goes to sch at 12. For this sem, i think we got more hands on work, projects etc. Hope its easy, and i wanna get good grades. Was happy that i got German language for my complimentary subject, my 2nd choice. Next time can use them if i go to germany. hehehe.. hmmm nth much, just had to work hard, train hard, play hard. Ciao!

Sava Sprints

Its been a few days after Sava Sprint race, only now i got the mood and time to update. For the past few days, i was just relaxing at home and rest, went for dental appointment too. The last appointment was like 2months ago, suppose to have 2 appointments in 2 months, but i cancelled them due to training. A day after the tightening, its still tight on my teeth now. And i got to wear a rubber band on my teeth, order by my beautiful dentist. hahaaa.. Abit uneasy, but will get use to it soon.

Now let me say about my race. On sunday, i reached sch at about 8am, and suppose to leave sch at 830. but the bus driver was late and was delayed, we only left sch at about 9+. The gals team were told to wear their life vest and get ready to rush to the venue, as they were told their race will be held soon. They alight from the bus and rush there, while we took their bags and walk slowly for our destination. It was jus a rush, when we reached there, the gals were warming-up. We settle down, did some warm-ups and light run. Think all of us were quite nervous. When its our turn, we got our moral up and off we go. Our very first race began in quite a good start. Although we got last for the first race, but we had done a great job, our timing was 52seconds. Our rivals for was strong, such a team PMC, national team. Our senior team manage to get a slot in the semi-final, as they got first in their race. Waiting for our repecharge race to be called, we head to TP toilet to do business. Soon our next race was called, and all juniors head down again for our second race. Our rivals were strong too, but we only wanna beat one team which is ngee ann poly. Their team were suppose to be a junior team but they input 5 pairs of seniors inside. Race began, we gave a very good starts. Overall for the second race, i felt a much better feel, but timing was 53seconds, 1 second behind our first race. We was last for the 2nd race but in the end, ngee ann poly was given a 2second penalty for which i think was one of their rower scolded "CB" loudly just before the race start. How did the "CB" came about? Just before the race gonna starts, ngee ann boat shouted "ngee ann lai ah!". Seconds later i shouted "Nanyang Lai Ah!". And then, tat word "CB" came out loud and clear. And yeah, we beat them for 1 second according to the time. Woot! Im extremely happy when i saw the results. For the entire sava sprint, our NYP dragonboat won a medal, first place from minor plate, our senior got them. Well Done! After this race experiences, and after getting last place for the race, we gotta work extremely hard for our next race, river regatta 2009. Im gonna train damn hard, gym damn hard and try to make it into boat A. Jia You Louis!!

Dead blog uh.. hahahaha..

Well i was ill for the past 3days. Hours before my illness attacks me, i ate my dinner. Tat day was special, my dad cooked salmon fish in 2 ways, deep dry and grill. The very first dish i took was the deep dry salmon, ate one small bit. After tat i started to feel unwell, somehow i felt tat the food i ate didnt digest. Tat night, i woke up in the middle of the night to take some medicine and drink some water. Stomach was feeling super bloated, after some consideration, i decided to vomit them out from my stomach. Had diarrhoea for the night, many times. Vomited onces more. Went back to slp, but couldnt slp well. Next day, i had diarrhoea too. Fever was away but came back at night again. And for the past 3days, i didnt eat alot. Only ytd night, my appetite slightly came back, ate abit more den what i ate past few days. Now im feeling much better, though my stomach still feels slightly uneasy and not eating much as usual. Recovering...

My race is tmr! Nth much to say about the upcoming race lah. We will be racing with American dragons, NUS, Team PMC, RP. I just wanna see all of us did our very best for our very first race, even win or lose. Today's race was good, think all of our seniors and juniors girls did well. Rest Day

Today is a rest day for me. No rowing, no training.

Ytd went queensway shopping centre with my bro and dad. They pick me up after my training. Went there to buy long sleeve compression top. There were many brands, 2XU, SKINS, Adidas and Nike Pro. Top brand is 2XU, reviews shows that it the best compression suit. However its price is also nice, selling at $155. I end up buying Nike Pro Long sleeve compression top, selling at $47. Bought 2 though. hahaa. My purpose of this top is to prevent my body from exposing to the sun, meanwhile it compress my body. Since im training everyday, i bought 2, scare one not enough. I bought a running shoe too. A red/white nike running shoe, random chose one, too many to choose from.

Wore the top overnight, cooling and feels good. No training today, so woke up late 10+. Ate breakfast, den watched tv for awhile. Ard noon time, my dad came back and ask me to wash his cars. I cant say no, cos i drive his car. hahaha.. Went down to MSC to wash his cars with him. Guess what, theres no water at MSC, and i got to go back home and get a pail of water down. Washing the cefiro first, follow by odessey. My dad dry clean the cefiro and drove up to polish it, while i dry clean the odessey. Drove up, parked the car and left for home.

Sold my Estarter RTF (plane) to a nice gentleman, who had bought stuffs from me before. $110 richer. haha.. My Hyperion charger is pending collection too. Lugi alot of money though, but if i dun sell now, i will lugi even more next time. Since im not flying now, just sell them cheaply. Still left with a transmiter, charger and some misc stuffs for sales.

Tmr we will be having a pacing sets with RP onces again. i'll jus give in my all best. No matter win or lose, a smile will be always on my face. JiaYou!

Hahahah! What A Day, or shld i said it Call It A Day.

Training as usual. After training, i met Jackson and JinYang for gym at Hougang sports gym. Theres quite alot of ppl gyming, some were quite fit, some were not. Can i consider the fit one there? hahaha..

Taught Jackson some gym workouts, such as bicep curl, upright roll, shoulder press, bench press etc. I put on my usual weight, and did 3 sets per exercise. Quite fun, coz can show others my muscles pumped up. hehehe.. Some were like staring at me working out. Did some ads workouts too, not much though, cos my ads cramped up.

We head to hougang mall for early dinner after gyming. Wanted to eat pastamania, but it was jus too ex, my wallet left only 12bucks. Poor guy... End up, we ate subway. Currently theres a promoting for 4 different types of sandwiches. I ordered meatballs with honey oat, my favourite bread, and 2 cookies! For $7.50. Normally u have to pay 8bucks onwards for this meal. Chit chat while eating, left hougang mall at 5+ to home.

I ate again for dinner. Now eating oreo with milk, nice siol.. hahahah!

Guess what peeps, i tio abrasion on my arse! Super duper pain! Dont know whether can i row the next day. See how it goes bah..

Been training all day long as usual. Getting tanner, blacker, darker. Getting muscular? hahhaa..

Ytd we had a 3 sets of pacing race with RP juniors team. All 3 sets were 200m, each set we rowed twice. First set, i really used alot of energy, was totally shaq out after the set. After us, were the gals turn to pace. No comments for the gals. hehe..

2nd set, i used power but not as much as the 1st set, dunno y. But the boat moves as fast. Probably due to the boat we are using, we were using RP BUK boat, made in germany. Its much lighter and glides well.

3rd set, both junior teams used seagull boat. what i can say is that, rp's starts are fast. But our charge are fast too, we caught up to them. We were really close, dunno who won, but it was nice.

Hmmm, no matter win or lose, its jus a pacing race. Sort of friendly race, for us to know what command will be called, atmosphere. It really gives me and my teammates the feel of the actual race day. So now we gonna train harder next week and get rdy for sava sprints. My aim is to beat all poly junior teams, is it possible?

DragonBoat Camp 2009

WooHoo, came back ytd evening from camp. Onces i reached home,i straight away went to slp and slept till the today 11am. Super duper tired, will tell u why im so tired later on.

Let me talk about my camp.
Day 1: Theres rowing in the morning. After rowing, we went back home to rest abit and pack our bags. Meet up in sch at 5-6pm for camp. All of us split up into 4 groups of team. My team was named 'Shaaark!'. We were to draw a flag of ours, a cheer, and to play games in groups. First night was quite fun, we played games till like 11pm. Lights off at 12.30am, i couldnt slp well though, floor was rock hard. Tats all for day 1.

Day 2 & 3: ROwing in the morning at 1030am. We took mrt to Kahbit and walked down to the reservoir. After training, we took bus back to sch. Had our lunch then... Right after lunch, we played games tat made us dirty and wet, we played water bombs, tug of war, and one blind folder game tat made us very dirty. all this games were drag till 9pm+, and our dinner were served after all of us had bathe. Off to bed at 1030, i fell asleep jus 15mins on my slping bag, was so damn tired. And at 130am, the most exciting part is here. Siren was heard, i woke up and shouted 'WTF', i quickly get up and keep my ipod, and ran out of the room. It was a BOOT CAMP by our dearest coach Patrick. It was the longest training i ever had, we trained from 1.30am - 9am. This BOOT CAMP was about team bonding. Super tiring, Super Dirty, Super Wet. Few things i wont forget, Siren from airhorn, Down down down down... by Patrick, entire Boot Camp. Not finish yet, no rest for us, we went for rowing after the so call 'hell training'. We did not have our breakfast and off we went for rowing till 2+. We had our lunch den. And yeah, its break camp time, after debrief, we went to shower and off we go, bye bye to DB camp 2009. Me,Cheng Wei,Jack went to amk's pizzahut to have our good lunch, we ate pasta, not really nice though. Went back home after a good lunch and slept till today 11am. wahahahhaha!

Will be away for dragon boat camp for 3days 2nights.

Kinda excited for this camp. Hope it will be a nice and fun camp for all of us. Theres lots of things for us to bring, clothings, sleeping bag, shoes, our own breakfast etc. Confirm one bag not enough for all the stuffs im bringing. Im one tat bring alot of things. hahaha.. Packing half way though. Heard tat my camp tee is nice with biggy wordings, which i always like. Sounds nice, so pls be nice when i see it. lol! alright time to continue packing, gonna meet up at 5pm later, but im sure gonna be late. Wadever!

Was out for almost the entire day. Morning went for training, ended at ard 12. Today training was a WOW, we rowed with a tire tied behind our boat. Only 4 pairs were rowing, and we were pacing with the senior boat. First 2 sets of 150m was awesome, we lead the seniors, though the water is damn damn heavy. However, not always ways are on our path. 2nd rd, 2sets of 200m, senior boat lead us for about 1-2seats. Think we were too exhausted and tired, or maybe coach was not in our boat. hahah! Lastly, we juniors and senior did 2sets of pacing, both were good, but can be better. We can do it!

Had lemon chicken with egg and a cup of soya bean for lunch. While eating, some decided to go for a movie, so i said if amk hub i will go. Yes its amk hub, i went and we watched G-force, but b4 the show, we went to play lan above mac. Played CS source for 30mins, and i changed to SA, the rest play dota. lol! G-force - Show was nice, funny, and cute. The geunie pigs are cute and clever, can talk somemore. haha.. Not a bad show, u guys can go watch it. Bought XXL chicken after movie, and head back home via bus88.

Nowadays, i spending money like water flowing from a tap. I MUST stop buying stuffs except for food. Eat less expensive food too! BUdget for this month. Hahahah!

Mizuno Wave Run 16km

This morning, me and my bro(Larry) went for our very first long distance run, the MizunoWaveRun 16km 2009.

Woke up very early in the morning to get prepare for the run. Left house at around 6.50am, i drove to NYP. Upon reaching NYP, i saw so many cars queuing up to enter our sch, so my bro told me to park at grassroot club, as i can park there for free.

PS: NYP is the starting and ending point for the run. :D

Walked from grassroot club to sch. Many were already ready for the run, while me and my bro did some warm-ups. Horn was blown, flag off, and we were still making our way to the starting point, wasted like 5mins. There were too many pple crowded at the starting point so no choice also. And off we go for our first long distance run. We mantain our pace nice and good, breathing was just perfect. When about the 5km, i met my teammate benny running, we decided to ran together. At the half way turn 8km, we decided to take off our running tee and ran bare body. At about 10km or so, benny back off from me and my bro. I kept telling my bro, we are reaching. When we are reaching the ending point, about 3km away, i started to break away from my bro, speed up and charge for the finishing line. I ended a timing of 1hr 55mins, my bro ended with a timing of 2hr 6mins. Awesome, before the run, im targeting below 2hrs, and i made it. hehehe.. Went back home, bathe, nap and relax till now. Thigh aching now.. Hais..

Today....

Training again~ Everyday without fail~
Did short distances today. It just suck big time today, rowing all off, no glide at all. I was pushing damn freaking hard, as i felt the boat is dropping. After siwei, my pacer parnter told me dun have to push so hard, the back are not pushing, u push for wad, i then decided not to push hard. But hard enough to pull the boat going. As usual, after training went bathing and went kahtbi central to had our lunch, eat alot and damn full.

Today is NYP StageArts production night performance. Im lucky to have 2 tickets given by Clara, otherwise i will missed out the dance scenes, especially one scene. Hahaha! The show was named 'Faces Of War', talking about a family trying to escape from invading soldiers. Many funny moments during the show, especially the mad woman, her acting was the best of all, really damn good. *clap clap*
Her scene was like the last dance scene, if im not wrong, its nice & graceful. All the time i was just looking at u dance. Hoho! Clara also did well, great job! Well Done Carolyn and Clara! I will stay tune for ur next performance.

Happy 18th Birthday to my 6yrs long Girl-friend: Toh Shuting!

Ytd was a tiring day for me. Woke up early in the morning for DB training, trained till 11+ due to rain. So i thought it was still early, after lunch few of us went to Noble house to play pool. It was a snooker table, freaking big, we play one game for almost an hour. Head home after playing only one game, very tired so took a short nap on the bus back home.

When i reached home it was already 2.30, and gonna rush to meet jackson to collect birthday cake for shuting and rush to bugis to meet them. Super rush! Onces at bugis, we walk walk around to check out the restaurants, too many to choose. I let the girls decide, and they decided on 'Ma Maison' restaurant, a japanese style de. We were suppose to surprise shuting, as she doesnt know 2 of us are coming, so we went into the restaurant and wait for their arrival. She was surprised when she saw us, hahaha.. Chit chat for awhile and ordered our food. The food are extremely small in portion, not filling at all, but luckily we got cake. After our dinner, we sang birthday song and cut the birthday cake. Oh yeah, its a D24 Durain cake which i ordered for her. Its nice though, i ate 1/4 of the cake, and still eating more. And we started to play the creams, i started the cream fight first on shuting face, followed by jackson. hahaha.. Fun!

Shuting craving for donuts, head down to some donut cafe, forgotten its shop name. She bought 10 donuts, we shared all of them. Last 5 donuts, we took turns to take a bite on each donuts, among all, coffee donut is the worst of the worst. 'Suck Big Time - Jacelyn'
We played poker cards to kill some time. Played some fun games, and im always the winning, losers are to be hit by 2fingers on their arms. The only time i lost is playing black jack. hahaha.. We were laughing like mad ppls.

Ehh and then head to 77th street to buy my ear stut, shuting chose a ear stut for me, however for its price 12.90, i bought one side only. haha.. Changed from orginal ear stut to the blink blink stut. COol! Went to a corner and took many photos, funny and nice. We got nth better to do, so decided to head home, took train from bugis to city hall, from city hall to DG mrt, from DG to habourfront and lastly to sengkeng. We pei shuting back to sengkeng, and took bus with xiaoxuan back home. Jacelyn loner, took bus by herself. hahaha! Its a fun and enjoyable day i shld say.

Phew~Phew~Phew~

Finally reached home after a half long day outside. Ehh, outside didnt means i go out shopping. Went for training at our so call second home, at seletar reservoir. Coach was away for holiday, so our training plan was 3-5 sets of 250m, 200m, 150m, and 100m of fast rowing and some charge. Although its short distance, its quite tiring, i row hard and pull hard, until my arms aches. hahaha.. After training, 10 of us went to north point to had our lunch at manhattan fish market. Went there to also support jiexin, one of my teammate. Their fish&chip was acceptable, and its freaking filling. While i was eating, i saw 2 of my 'ex' DB teammates working downstairs where we were eating. Its great to see them, hope them will be back to training soon.

And yeah, i pierce my ears, both sides. Few years ago, i had already pierced my left ear but was close up. Got to urge to pierce again, so i go ahead and pierce, 2 sides for 8bucks, which i think its cheap. Hopefully i wont get infection on my ears, lets pray.

I am so surprise Carolyn tagged me on my blog. So freaking awesome lah. Hahahha! U will be happy seeing this, so am i. LoL! I here wish u all the best for ur performances this sat.

Yeah finally my semester papers are over. I've did my best! AND its holiday now! wEEEeEeeEe!! However my holiday is like no holiday, as my training occupied almost everyday of my holiday.

My schedule for my entire training for this month,

As our next race SAVA SPRINTS is on 2nd week of Oct, we got only 1month to train and get ready for the race. From ytd onwards, we started to train extra hard then before. I love going to training, but i dislike running part, becoz im not very gd in running. Hahahha..! Now im just hoping we can get a 20 junior team for this coming SAVA SPRINTS race. I really wanna race no matter win or lose, just wanna have this race experiences and show others we are strong to compete. COME ON juniors!!!

Ytd training was a tragedy. For the almost the entire training, i parnter WeiXiang, one of my senior. We were happily working out our gym exercises, happily chit chatting, laughter and all. After gym workout, we head up to the track and did our medicine ball training for the truck muscles. We were still doing happily thurout the workout. at about 9pm, the lights was off, and it was kinda dark but we still able to see quite clearly. Just while we were doing the last set, one of my senior threw a medicine ball high up into the sky for the fun of it, and the 3-4kg ball landing on my parnter, weixiang's head. I was freaking shocked split seconds after it happened. I should have look at where the ball had landed, and probably can save him from getting hurt. It might be me getting struck by the ball, as im just sitting a metre or two away from him, i was just lucky. He was in great pain, his hands were grabing his head, but he was conscious. My coach decided to call the ambulances and send him to hospital for checkup. Hope he recover fast, so we can training together again. And we had learnt a lesson not to play around with gym equiqments and any stuffs that post danger to others.

3 down, 1 to go!

What i meant is my semester exam papers. Hahahahha! So far, the papers are quite manageable, i think i can pass for these 3 papers. But for the last paper, which is computer programming, it will be quite difficult for me, the paper knows me, but i dont know it. Gonna start revising tmr le, do all the past yr papers. Chiong!

I am looking for job to work during my holiday, dont wanna waste my time slacking at home. Applied for NUM twice, but they didnt contact me yet, heard from frens, they took afew weeks or months to contact the applicant. Hopefully can find a job that i like.

Its kinda sad that i drop my hobby, flying rc planes. Many of my frens asked me why i leave this hobby. The reason is, i got no time for it. Most of the time were spent during training, once i got back home, sometimes i was so tired that i dun felt like going out again. I still love flying though, i am sure i will get back to flying onces again, once my adrenaline rush for flying rc is back. For the past few week or rather a month, i had sold almost all my planes and stuffs. My Beloved AngelS was sold to a nice german, was sad to let it go, but think twice again, i am not flying it anymore, so why not just sell it. It has been together with me for about a yr, and i treated it like my baby/wife/gf. Hahhahaha... Now that, almost everything had gone, left transmitter, chargers and many tools and misc items, my dad is happy that i sold them away. He do support me in flying rc, but didnt likes me to fly big planes, as it may cause huge incident, eg: crashed into car, ppl etc. Right now, i am planning to build one plane from foam. If i do have the time, i will go down to PFW and fly with my buddies.

WoW! Its gonna 1am already, tmr i still got training at seletar reservoir at 7.30am. I better zhao and slp early. Good Night!

Awesome Race!

Ytd race was jus great! The atmosphere there was very different from training. Theres total of 25 teams participating in this AustCham 10km race. We had our start off point at no.1, which is not a gd starting point. The best starting point are in the middle pack. Onces the horn sound off, all the 25 boats charged up. The middle pack was the fastest to charged up, they were like ahead of us 1-2 boats length, and soon further and further away. I maintain our technics, and we passed RP at about the 1KM part. Water is quite rough, as theres many boats beside and up infront of us, we are getting the back wash of the water from other boats. Soon, we broke away from the chase pack and had left us, NUS alumni, and SIM boats on par. We took turns to take the lead among the 3 boats. LoL! Theres once when SIM boat was so damn close to our boat, few of my teammates including me whacked the SIM rower's paddle a few times, then they split from us. I dunno why SIM got lots of problems, They clash with NUS alumni boats, and lost their glide of the boat, we overtook them and the NUS alumni boat. But they manage to chase up to us again. At the returning path, SIM onces again almost clash towards a speed boat, tat was really funny, but i couldnt laugh. lol!! We continued and about to turn to the last stretch to the finish line, we were been banged by NUS alumni boat by the back, and we were off steered, our steerer was our coach Patrick, he manage to steer it back, but did a big round one. But still we are leading ahead of these 2 teams. Ahead of us was the german dragon team, if we didnt got banged by the other boat, we can catch up with the german dragon boat. Our last stretch was the best, i love tat feeling. We broke away from NUS alumni and SIM and left them far behind. We charged to the finish line, got a 15th position out of 25. I hope to be better, but we did our best already. And im happy with the results of it. Next race is gonna be SAVA SPRINTS, gonna train extremely hard to clock patrick's timing for junior team. Lets do it!

Today i went back to sch to study with my frens. Shi Ting was early, she was there waiting for us already. LoL! And i was the 2nd one to reach. I was hungry, so we went down to north canteen to have our lunch, only me and shi ting ate, rest drank soft drinks only. I ate quite alot during lunch time, ate one egg prata, plain prate, muachee, popiah, and tutu kueh and a banana milk drink. wahahahha! Was freaking full after tat. We went back to library to study, studies till about 2.45pm, i went off as i got training at 3.30pm. Anthony was kind to send me to the bus stop outside nyp. Thanks dude! I didnt drive to seletar reservoir becoz if i drive there, i got to pay for parking, so ya i didnt. While waiting for bus, i met ronald,tong sheng, zaw and qin mei. They took the same bus as me, and off we go for training. Damn disappointed with myself today. As usual, we row few rounds for warm-up. Then we went for a 10km row, beginning was fine, only after like 5km, i start to get cui on my left shoulder, but i pulled myself for the entire 10km row. We rowed about 10.2km in 58mins, which i think is gd. After the 10km row, my left shoulder became super cui, i couldnt lift up my shoulder, cant even lift up the paddle fast. So for the entire 2nd half of the rowing, i was super duper suck, timing was off, stroke was more or less wrong, coach kept calling my name telling me to push. But i give in all my best for them. Hais, was jus disappointed with myself, im not gonna be so weak during the race, gonna give all my very best 110% for the race. COME ON LOUIS! LETS PUSH AH! LAI AH! PUSH AH! LAI AH! PUSH AH! If you can be beside me, it will be even better. :)

First day of study break. I did study today!! Studied computer programming EG1005, did 1 paper already, now finishing another past yr paper. Must work hard, dun wanna reatake module for next semester. Had been waiting for her msg, but didnt came, gonna persevere! YEAH!

Ytd i brought home my racing weapons, which is my racing paddle, my life vest and lastly my butt pat. For those who wonder what paddle im using, yea this is the one im using all the while, a grey owl paddle. Life vest is a must for every rowing session, as its a rule now. Butt pat is important to me, i need it to prevent my butt from getting blue-blacks. But even with the butt pat, i still get pains on my butt while rowing. A butt pat is a must for 10km race. hahaha! took some photos of my paddle and life vest, sadly no pic of my butt pat (forgotten to take), and me wear the them! Heheees!

This week was a happy week for me. Well, i got to know a special gal i met. Her smile motivates me lots, with tat i can do much better in sports and studies. Now im getting to know her more. Jia you leh Louis!

Its exactly a week before my competition, AustCham 10km race at marina reservoir. Had been training extra hard nowadays. Today theres no training due to some event at seletar reservoir, so me and dennis decided to go self-training at hougang sports hall. The locker was 40cents, but i used 80cents to the locker. Coz i didnt take out my towel, and the gym in-charge asked me to take it out, so no choice gonna use another 40cents, wasted sia. Alot of ppl were in the gym, many were doing weights. I did chest and shoulder excercises, den after we went out for running around hougang mall, we ran 2 rounds, got at least 4km. After our self-training, we went mall to have our lunch, i bought a XXL chicken which i had been craving for long. Dennis wanted to eat subway, so i join him. Ya and now blogging this liao loh. Later going my aunt new house at woodlands there, will be my first time, excited mannx!

Pulau Ubin Trip

A great outing to Pulau Ubin with my fellow DragonBoat teammates and seniors.

Woke up at 6am, washed up and bathe, and left to bus stop to meet up with cheng wei at 7.15am. On the bus, we met minthu one of our teammate too. haha.. The bus ride to changi village was super duper long. And i was so sleepy, i slept for the whole journey with my music on. We reached changi village at ard 8.25am, 5mins earlier. hahaha. Heng didnt late, anyway if we are late, nth will happen. Becoz all of them are having breakfast over there first before setting off to pulau ubin. Feeling hungry so i ate 3 curry puffs and a prata. At about 10.30am, we set of to pulau ubin via small ferry which only can take maximum 12 person. All of us got into 4 ferries, as we got over 40ppl. Ferry ride was roughly less den 10mins ride, super noisy and the smell of the exhaust stings mannx. Onces i land my foot on palau ubin, i felt tat im on foregin land, feeling is so much different, although it still consider as part of Singapore. Head to the bicycle stall and rented bikes. Theres so many bicycle stall and seafood restaurant, dunno which to choose, so we just choose the one nearest to us. hahaha.. I took a $8 GT bike, most of them took $5 bike, forgotten to take a photo of my bike. lol.. We den set off for my cycling, at first we were all together, den in the end, we were separated into 3 groups. My group went to chek gava wetland, but we didnt go in. Many slope and rocky ways, 3 ppl fell, including me while riding down a steep slope. I was not riding on a slope, but i was doing a 'superman' kind of position till i lost balance and fell forward to the ground. Got my right arm blue-black, like someone had caned me like tat. One of my fren was seriously injured, his both arms, palms, fists, legs were all cut by small rocks on the rocky surfaces. Another was still alright, only one or two wounds on the knee. Well, Take care bros! We cycled till 1+pm and went back to return the bikes and went to ubin first stop restaurant to have our lunch. I ate alot, ate 5 bowls of rice and lots of other side dishes. Delicious! The awesome thingy is that, lime juice is free flow, as well as rice. hahahha! For $13, its worth it.
Went back home after lunch, and slept on bus again on the way home.

Hey peeps!

A week had passed, gosh, its damn fast. Next thurs, there will be a common test on engineering science and i have not started studying. Many subjects and topics are still waiting for me to read them. Come On LOuis, go study!
Today was our last presentation for this semester for communications skills, so i decided to wear alittle nicer den previous. Took many photos during and after our presentation, awesome, we even took a class photo with our teacher. Beauty! Yeah and our last presentation was about our dressing for presentation, theres lots of things to say for jus mens alone. I present about cuff links and sleeves, as im the only one wearing cuff links in class. Kekekke! Communications skills is one of my favourite class, our teacher mrs benita fong is good! Hopefully i didnt spell her name wrongly wahhahah! Oh ya, i brought my dad's LV bag to school, jus for this presentation. Nice right?!
After our lesson end, we went to had our lunch, i ate ramily burger. My sch brought in ramily burger stall, so felt like eating, so bought one. Rest of my fren ate gecko, a western stall. After tat, we decided to try out the new stall called 'lok lok dip' located jus beside Mac, splash&decker and gecko. Bought one stick of meat balls for $1.10, jus wanna taste how it taste like, not too bad for the first timer. Will definitely buy again next time as finger food. Then after, it was maths lesson, as usual, i will buy pocky to class and eat, without something to munch, i will feel sleepy. During lessons, we went through exam questions and class test questions. Exam is getting nearer and nearer, gonna work hard to get good grades. GOGOGO!

This week was a busy week. As usual, tues and thurs was the training. On tues, actually i wanted to leave training early, as i got a math test tmr, but i didnt. Very lucky, coz at the end of training, while debriefing coach chose a team for the coming AustCham 10km race. He chose juniors and seniors, i am one of the junior. hohohoho.. This AustCham 10km race will be on 22august, which is less den a month time. Looking forward to my very first race for NYP dragonboat team. Wooooo! Will give my 101% in all.

Wed maths test was quite manageable, coz i've got a great buddy who teach me how to do. thx anthony. If he didnt teach me how to do, i sure GG. LoL. And today was presentation again for com skills, another chance for me to wear nice nice. hehehe! I felt tat i did a great presentation today. Im damn happy with my presentation. lol.

Im back to blog again!
Had been busy with my sch common test and dragonboat training the past 2weeks. So far out of 4 subjects, i passed 3 subjects which is Maths 52marks, Anolog electronics B+, Electrical principle B. I know for sure i will fail the programming paper, no doubt about it. Quite happy with my result though, i tot im going to fail my maths, and tot im gonna get border line marks for AE & EP. Exams is getting closer again, i've not prepare for my O lvl english yet. Oral is getting closer too. Gonna study extra hard already, not gonna waste my time anymore.

DragonBoat training is now getting more fun and more tiring. I enjoy the trainings, it makes me feels pumped up. hahahha! also its quite tiring, we were like pushed to the limits, but im not at my limits yet. Today was the sea rowing, great fun, great sun and great rowing. To perfect the stroke, its damn hard to do so, as whole team gonna work together if not sure GG. everytime after training, we will go to yishan to have our heavy breakfast/lunch. We ate like we had nva ate for many days, but it shld be normal for us, as we used lots of energy in rowing. As time goes by, i hope i can be even tougher and fitter. Train hard, study hard! Woot, todays water training was fun!
Went to have breakfast with my dad at hougang ave8, blk684 kopitiam. Then nick and jie lun came to meet me to take a free ride to lower seletar reservoir. They owns me a treat. Muahha!.. The training starts at 10.30am, and we got there at 10.30am. Capt said, if tmr whoever is late, there will be punishment. So tmr i must not late. What we did today was firstly warm-up as usual, and then we split into 2 groups, as only one boat was in operation, so sadly i was the 2nd group and we did air paddling. Im going to paddle left side, i just feel comfortable with left side. Its our turn, and we paddled, but not for long. Later on, we den split into groupA and groupB, A are the better paddlers, while B are the weaker ones. Amazingly, i was choosen to be in grpA. I think 10 person was choosen, and the rest are in grpB. But its not final, there will be changes here and there, if theres better paddlers in grpB or theres weaker paddler in grpA. Im gonna work double hard for this team. After training, we went to a game of basketball, wow it was tiring and the sun is blazing hot. Den went to mac to have lunch and went back home via bus854. I manage to get myself tanned, wkakakaka. Will continue to tann myself tmr.

Monday is my first common test paper, im still long way to finish the studies. All the best to myself. GoGo Louis!

Yoo all, got back from thailand a week ago. Quite lazy to blog until now. hahhaa.. The trip was fun, although its only 3days 2nights. Singapore airlines services are great, their choice of entertainment is nice too. I watch 'Taken' while flying to thailand, and watched 'shopoholic' back to singapore. But sadly i didnt manage to finish watching the shop. Too bad..

At first i thought thailand is rather a poor country, NO its not. The airport is quite nice and have the facilities. The trip to our hotel from airport was long about an hour, took a nap on the ride. I stayed in Holiday Inn Bangkok, its in the city area, 10min walk from Siam Square, a place like Orchard road, exactly the same. Our room quite spaceous, one thing special is the toilet, they got a transparent glass which can be seen through. So when someone is using toilet u can see it, but they is a blind to cover. BUt still quite weird design.. We didnt go far places, as u know H1N1 flu. Luckily the shopping areas are 10mins walk away from our hotel, and even better, our event venue was in a shopping mall, called Siam Paragon. Its similar to our Singapore Paragon in orchard. Went to MBK the next day to shop, bought quite alot of stuffs, mostly shirts. Wanted to spend all of my money but in the end i didnt. hahahha.. Thai ppl are quite nice, and pretty but most of the time i dunno whether they are guy or girl. And this event, i got to know the famous band in the 80s, Pointer Sisters. Their songs are nice, and addictive, and high too. lol.. Ehh nothing much to say liao.. Let the pictures do the talking..

Onces again, im going overseas with GFK team. This time round, we are going to Thailand, Bangkok for a 3days 2nights event. This coming saturday will be the flight, flight is in the noon 3+. Flight time is about 2hours. We will be taking Singapore Airlines for this trip. WoooHoooo!! At first, we are taking budget airlines, but then later was changed to singapore airlines. Phew!~ We are taking Boeing 777-200ER jet, a twin engine commerical jet. I think it will be a awesome flight to thailand. I will take lots of photos when im there. will post them when im back. 3 days plus to go. Weeeee!!~

Today was a tiring day.. Morning i went to lower seletar reservoir for dragon boat rowing, its our first sea rowing. Did warm-up, then we broke up into 4 groups. Before rowing, my group practice on land. Quite cool mannx.. about 20mins later, its our turn to row, weather was quite hot, so i wear a cap. Rowing is damn fun!! We learnt basic rowing techniques, we get the hang out of it very soon, and we start rowing 10rows per set each. The very last row, we did a continuous row, after 20rows, we all cock-up, water starting to go over us, timing was horribly wrong. But it was a good try. Went to had lunch with my team mates at AMK, and den head back home to take a nap. Woke up at 5pm and prepared to head out for land training again. Today's land training was not that tired, but i couldnt perform my 100%, as i had wounds on my knee, and i hurt my wrist nerves during soccer match last sun. I still manage to complete what my captain ask me to do. Then ate Mac for dinner, now at home blogging.

WOW it has been quite awhile since i last blog..

Been busying with sch stuffs, dragon boat training and some secret stuff. Wakakkaka.. Yeah, next two weeks is holiday for me, can relax but gonna also study for common test which will be 2-3weeks later. Gonna study hard and pass! GoGo Louis!

Dragon boat is damn tough and fun! Im lovin it!! Last week we had went to swimming to do some basic rowing and a swim test inorder to row at the reservoir. Its a piece of cake to me. Kakakkak :P Next tuesday will be our very first sea rowing at lower seletar reservoir near yishan stadium. Cant wait to row mannx.. It would be a tiring day, as morning we will be rowing and in the evening we will have land training. Overall, im in love with this cca!

As for the secret stuff, i will keep it a secret as its a secret. Wakkakakakakakak!

Ytd had a great night with my secondary sch classmates. Its a gathering for jacelyn and thanachat 18th birthday at naked fish in grassroot club. I expect the restaurant to be empty, but its not, its pack with customers. We got our seats and order our meals. Everyone were chit chatting, and were laughing like mad. HAHahhahaha.. While we were all eating, jackson told me story about someone which i dun wanna mention. Damn interesting loh, all of us are enjoying listening and eating. I was happily disturbing jacelyn and cai xuan. LoL! Hahahhaa.. After eating, we took lots of photos in the restaurant, making the place like a wet market, so noisy! The restaurant is closing, and we quickly stop of photo taking session and cut the cake that xiaoxuan had bought. Everyone had a small piece.

Then we went to the old uncle pub in grassroot to have some drinks and games. I drank water, becoz im driving. LoL! Having fun there too, i played a game of pool with a uncle, wah he trashed me LOL! Then we decided to go AMK hub and watch movie. Drove to AMK hub and park. In the end, we didnt watch coz there no show for us to watch. Then we decided to go clarke quay for some fun, drove to clarke quay took me about 15mins. Walked around clarke quay and found a retro pub to drink and dance, i drank cranberry juice. Kinda boring, coz no girls. LoL! We dance for awhile and head back home at 2am. While heading back, i had hit my top speed since the day i start driving, at 120km/h. Maybe its not fast to others, but its fast to me, and maybe xiaoxuan who sat infront with me. Guys who had sat my car before please comments on my driving. Thanks. Drop jasper and head to petrol kioks to pump 10litres of petrol. LoL. 10litres cost us $16.90, and theres no pump attendance, and i got to ask the cashier, a ladyboy! to help me pump 10litres. And i dropped jk, jacelyn at her place and followed by jackson and xiaoxuan, and i head back home and parked my car. Went home i bathed and straight away boom onto my bed and sleep till 1++pm today. Wakakakkaa.. Upload photos later, most of them are in xiaoxuan cam, caixuan cam, jacelyn cam. LoL..

Yeah!! Happiest day of my life mannx. This is what i had been waiting for, and finally i got it at just one attempt. Today i left sch at 1.10pm and head to ssdc. Reached there and bought a drink to cool myself down. Was also blasting music to relax. Went into the waiting room for my warm-up lesson, there were already ppl waiting. Registered and sat down to be called. Since i was blasting music, i couldnt hear anyone, the warm-up instructor called me but i didnt notice, until he called me the third time. Hahhaha.. Warm-up lesson was smooth, very thing goes well. Afterwards, i parked my car and head up to a waiting area for our tp tester to call us. I was the first one to be called, and again i was blasting music in my ear. A lady beside me touched me and told me my tester is calling me, hahaha! My tester was funny though. Head to my test car and moved off. First station was the direction change, second was parrallel parking, third was S & Crank course, fourth was ramp, and last was vertical parking. I skipped the slope, because my tester didnt ask me to do. LoL! Went out to the public road and do my test route, if im not wrong im doing the test route same as the route i went during my warm-up lesson. Guess what, i skipped the U-turn during my test, he didnt ask me to do so. Very things goes well on the road. Im first to park my car at where test car shld be parked, and went up to his office to collect my result. WOoohOOoooo, he said my driving was good, but the only bad thing is when im at junction, im slow in moving off. Total point deducted was 12points, mostly was made in circuits. Yeah, its a PASSED!!! And bla bla bla...... Took a queue number to collect my temporary license, in the meantime, my dad fetched me to take passport size photo for my driving license. Back to ssdc and in less den 10mins i got my temporary license. WooooHOOOoooYEAH!..! Thanks to those who had wish me luck and those who congrats me. People like my DAD & MOM, grandmother, xiao gu(laura), Jackson, Eleena, Matthew, Jacelyn, and Ian choy and many more. THANKS!

Drove back home with my dad beside me. SeiBEI SHIOK ah!!! Then at 5.30, i drove to sch for dragon boat training, again with my dad beside me, to guide me. After training, he came to fetch me and me and my family went for late dinner at AMK. Drove back home after dinner. Just simply shiok! Tommorrow im driving to sch alone, shiok.. Need to tell myself, NO SPEEDING, CHECK SAFETY, BE ALERT!

Today's driving lesson was great, made not much mistakes, although traffic was heavy today. Nevertheless i still do all my safety checks and procedures. Yeah, tmr is the day of my TP driving test. My test will be at 2.45, before that there will be a 40mins warm up period. Gonna put in all my best to pass the test. Jia You Louis!

Today was my 4th lesson of revision driving. Driving much much better den the past 3 lessons. For the past 3 lessons, i didnt always check my blind spots, braking late for traffic lights, braking too hard and a few more mistakes. Much better as in i did less mistakes today, i checked all my blind spots, braking early for traffic lights. Tmr will be my last revision lesson and the day after next is mine tp test. Getting nervous, excited and rather happy as i had waited for so long for this.

Went for my driving lesson today and had missed my dragon boat training. Had not been training the past weekend, felt kind of rusty le. And yeah, today i trained myself by doing chin-ups. Did 60 chin-ups, of coz not all at onces. I did 20 before my first lecture. Did another 20 after my lecture. Did another 10 after my lunch at health sci blk. And another 10 when sch ends. Hahaha, shiok mannx.. I guess my arm will ache tmr. Never train i just feel uneasy. LoL!

Yooohoooo, just got back from sch. Today was a tiring day, first lesson i was damn restless and sleepy. Partly is coz of ytd dragon boat training and slept at 12. Ytd training was tough and fun. Initially theres like 150 over students join dragon boat, after 3 training, the group had reduced to about 50 - 60 not including girls. I've got to mention, im kinda liking one of the girl in dragon boat, she is from health sci sch, most probably in nursing course. Will try to approach her and talk. JiaYou! Next training i cannot make it, SIAN, coz of driving lesson at 6. Miss a chance to see her. LoL!

Got somethings new to post here. Wakakaka! Recently i bought a Razer Salmosa mice from our sch IT fair. Bought it becoz my old mice was superduper suck, its cheaper den outside, my mom and bro sponser me some $$. Yeah so tats y i got it. Very happy with the performances and controls. Since i use the mouse, i had improve lots in SA(suddenattack) a FPS online game.

And

I got my new laptop, a fujitsu 1010H. Got a black one. My dad collected it for me today, thanks dad! Packaging was good, great protection to the lappy. Laptop was light as hell for its size, nice and shiny surface. But one thing i dislike is tat the whole lappy will tends to move to the direction when i flip the screen up. Think maybe the lappy is too light. Anyway its currently charging now, have to charge it for 8hours for its first charge. It looks rather plain, so im thinking of getting a laptop skin for it.

Yeah Yeah 6 more days to TP test. Tmr is my practical lesson. GoGo!

WooooHooooo...!...

Getting excited to my driving test which is 12 days away from now. 6 more days to drive since the last time i drove. It will be my first lesson of this month. And 4 other lessons for the next 4days after my first lesson on 16may. So total 10hours of driving + 40min warm up session before test. Gonna do my best and make no mistakes.

Last thursday was my 2nd training for dragon boat. Tat day i went to my dental appointment in the morning and missed 2 lessons, so i had to give my SEG's admin office the MC letter. While on the way back to sch, i recall tat i forgotten to get MC from my doc. Reached sch and head to the office and ask whether can i pass without a MC, he said no. Called up my dad and asked him if he is free to help me collect, yes he helped me. :) Ended sch at 3pm, went to mac and bought lunch home, took my fren's ride home with sean. Reached home at about 3.30pm, ate my lunch and played SA. At 5, i prepared my sports attire for dragon boat training at 6pm. Was aboout to leave house and my dad came home. He got me the MC from my doc and fetched me to sch. I rushed to the admin office to hand in my MC, but was told tat i still need to go online and filled up a form. Den i rushed to elearning plaza and filled up the form online. I was already late, and hasnt change into my attire, and the com was freaking slow. Manage to fill up the form and dash to the office and gave it to him, luckily it was not close yet. Den i fast walk to blkG where dragon boat clubroom is. Changed, left my bag in the room and went to the stadium to run 3 rounds. Training was tough tat day, was doing physical training all the time. But i like it, and gonna train hard for NYP dragon boat team.

Dragon boat orientation!

Today was the dragon boat orientation.

Went to the cca room and left my bag in the room and went to the stadium to assemble. Was shocked to see so many ppl already waiting, theres over 100+ boys. For girls, theres about 20 of them, one of them is kinda related to me. Jie Lun from my pri,sec sch mate and now my NYP sch mate also joined dragon boat. How cool was tat. lol.. First thing was introduction of dragon boat and the team, next was 3 rounds of running on the track, not tiring but i sweat alot mannx. After 3 rounds, we did push-ups, crushes(sort of sit-ups), and jumping jacks. A few of them have problem in doing jumping jacks with the timing, damn funny. Hahaha..! Hmmm, we did like 3-5 sets, cant remember liao. Den we went to the pull-up bar and do pull-ups, i did 13 pull-ups. Was then grouped base on numbers of pull-ups, i was in the 10-15 group, theres like only 10 ppl in the group. Next up was doing some basic weight lifting. After some basic training and knowledge, we went to the pool to watch our seniors demo on how to paddler. Damn cool. We tried and it was awesome, im loving it totally! Although it made my pants and boxer wet. But its worth the try. Had a personal introduction among small groups, my seniors was funny. Oh ya, my coach is even better, funny, and super fit with obivous muscles. Would like to have one next time too. Gonna train hard!

What happened recently? Hmmm, nothing much, past few days was schling. Now i like my classmates and sch more den before. Next tuesday will be my dragon boat orientation, hopefully theres girls in my batch. Wakakakak! Havent been called up by aeromodelling club. Oh ya, i forgotten to mention that i have a friend who is in NYP and also has the interests in flying had joined the club too. He told me theres this club, if not i wont even get to know this. Thanks Jeremy! Hmmm and ya nothing much le.

Okay as for today, i woke up 7.15am early in the morning for my regular fun fly session. Today was fetched by my mom, as my dad was not in Singapore. Reached there about 8.30am, weather was hot, biggy sun! Not many ppl though, just some regular hardcore members. Haha... Surpose to take a group photos with big planes, but i gtg early, as my dad just came back and he pick me up since its on the way. Took some photos too. Check them out!

Got home and had breakfast, nap awhile and head out to AMK at 2.30pm. Went there to sell my beloved Macbook at 1.8k. Reason for selling is, my course dun support Mac OS X. So if i were to buy bootcamp to boot vista on my mac, i need to spend at least 200bucks. So i discuss with my dad and he said go ahead and sell it. My asking price was actually 2k, but so far highest bid was 1.8k so i sold it off at tat price. My next lappy was be a fugitsu L1010HNYP, specs is good, price is good too. Looking to get this tmr.

Right after my macbook was sold, me and my dad went to compass point. Coz im changing fone. Woot! Head to M1 store, and queue was alright at that time. Many models for me to choose but in the end i chose Nokia E71. Nice fone, comes in 4 colours, red/sliver, grey/sliver, black/sliver, white/sliver. I chose the red/sliver as its the nicest of all. White/sliver also nice but red/sliver is even nicer. LoL!
Now, its time to get the hang out of it. :)

Hey guys! Wads up mannx! Been busy with sch stuffs the past few days. So far sch was great, get to see many sec sch frens and meet new frens. Last week was the cca crawl a.k.a cca carnival, me and my classmates when there during our break to look cca, not very crowded. First 2 cca stations are kayak and dragon boat, i didnt think twice i went straight to dragon boat and sign up, becos i already had this cca in my mind for quite some time. I was the second person who signed up for the cca at that time. LoL! I hope theres girls in my batch. kekeke! Joined aeromodelling club too, as u know its my hobby, so i will definitely join. Yeah thats all i can say for sch, lessons/lectures are all average.

This morning, my dad fetched me and my bro to the cathay for a online competition. My bro is participating with his fellow squad members from korea. Reached there damn early, most of the shops are not yet open, even the competition venue is not yet open. Decided to went PS for a walk, i felt hungry and drop by Mac and have a meal. Then went to a few shops and look at bags, shirts etc.. About 12, we went back to the cathay and meet the koreans. Was standing for the entire time outside the competition venue, damn tired. After a few rounds of game, its my bro turn and his team to play with soshi. First 5 round, my bro team kana trash, 5 - 0. Second 5 round, my bro team trash them 5 - 0. Score was 5 - 5, so the organiser said to play death match, play 3 games, 2 out of 3 wins. Each round was exciting, at last, my bro team lost 2 - 1. I think they did quite well, both teams are equally strong. Lost = no more match, so we went back. While we are going out of the cathay, i went to newurbanmale and take a look. A bag caught my attention, it was sort of 'dragon boat' bag, lappy bag, as theres compartment for it. So yeah, i ask the sales guy to take it down and let me have a look, material was good, design is nice and simple. actual price was $149, but for now theres 50% off the product. So i didnt think twice and bought it straight away. Afterwhich, we went back to hougang and ask my mom to fetch us at hougang mrt station. Now back home blogging this... :)

2nd long day!

Wow! Its just the second day and its long! From morning 9am to 6pm in the evening. Had our analog electronics lecture in the morning. After which, had engineering science lecture for an hour before lunch break. Went to Mac and had our lunch, met KahJing at Mac and had lunch together with 6 other fellow classmates. Time seriously flies damn fast, lessons starts again, this time was sort of practical lesson, did assembling of 3 pin-plug, looks easy but in fact its not really easy. Hahaha.. The last 3 hours de lesson make me kee siao, we learnt about computer programing, and its hard to memories, i just follow the steps and hopefully i did everything correctly. Saved everything up and off we go. Today, Ian, one of my classmate who is driving drove me home, as he is passing by my house. Awesome dude! Soon its my turn to drive to sch and drive back home. Wakakakaka! Cheers Everyone!

First Day!

Today was the first day of my poly sch life. First lesson starts at 12pm, and i met my classmates at 11.30pm at the atrium and went to have our lunch. After our lunch, we head to the classroom, waited outside for like 15mins but no one turned up and we decided to go and buy our lecture notes. The queue was long, many pple were hogging the place chit chatting and ticking what to buy. We queued up and spent 20+bucks on a few lecture notes. Next lesson was held at computer lab, we did nth in the lab, browsing nyp web and chit chatting for 1 hour. Waste of time! It was break time, a hour of break, so we went to Mac and have our tea break, had a muflurry. And guess what, the meals at NYP was extremely cheap, a Upsized Big Mac is selling at just 5bucks! Outside it can be easily 6bucks! How cheap isit, a privilege to NYPians and pple who eat there. Awesome! Tmr i will confirm go Mac and eat. Okay then continued with my other lessons. Last 2 lessons was english lesson, class was mixed with students from other classes. It was fun and full of laugher, our tutor was humorous and easy going. And guess what, i was sabotage to be the english class leader, sian but advantage is that i had everyones email address. Theres one girl from my class looks pretty okay, can add her on msn, got her number in the list too. Wakakakaka! After class, while i was walking towards interchange, i saw JK, celina, sim jun and eleena chit chatting gloria geans, approached them and said hi. And ya, then went back home. The end!

NYP Orientation!

Jus came back from the 2nd day orientation of SEG, School of Engineering. Lets start on wad had happened on the 1st day. I reached NYP at about 8.15am and went in to register my name and take a seat in the auditorium hall. Waited for like 1hour before they start the orientation. After all the shows/dances, we head out and have some intro of ourselves and some super lame games. And u know wad, my class more than half are foreigners, damn sucks! Only 5-7 singaporeans in the class and the rest all foreigners. No choices, got to tahan and study hard for the next 2 years with this class. Had our lunch at about 11+, the food was awful, ate a few mouth and i gave up. Met a few new friends, they are very friendly mannx. Continued with our activities, overall quite boring mannx.

2th day, which is today, i reach sch at about 8.40am and met my classmate and OGL and then head to have our activities. Watched some video clips and some slide show about electronics cca. No interests in them but its quite interesting though. LoL! We had balloon bursting games too, balloons are tight onto our legs and pop other classes balloons. We had 5 classes including mine competing. It was kinda fun, pop a few balloons only, kept trying to pop a girl's balloon from another class but i couldnt, many was attacking me from the back. Hahhaa.. Non of my balloons was been pop, kekeke.. Results was, our class got 3place for whose got the most number of balloon not burst. Went to meet our personal mentor but he didnt came, so another one came and explained all the stuffs to us. Time table in poly is different from sec sch, very complicated mannx. Alright mannx, from today onwards i must work hard, study hard and play hard to achieve good grades. Jia You Louis!

Fly Fly Fly!

Woke up early this morning with my dad for my weekend fun fly. Went to woodlands flying field but no one was flying and theres many joggers. Furthermore, theres many signs saying no radio controlled activities, so my dad said better not to fly there. Hais wasted our trip there. Then we head to PFW to fly. Had our breakfast first before heading to PFW. Saw daniel at pfw, it has been a long time since i see him. Now he is flying a Mikado logo 600, a high end electric heli. His flying skills was just great. Remaiden my zero fighter today, it was a success. Ytd i didnt have a good maiden, i crashed my zero due to a seriously stupid mistake made by me. I had not checked the alierons, and there are reverse, left = right, right = left. And during the maiden it crashed right after i took off. Hais.. But luckily now its flying well, but didnt look as nice only.

Then i went bukit batok flying club with daniel, i went to check out the flying ground. I was the only one flying plane there at that time, all was helis. From small to 90size heli. Had 3 flights on my Angel S, anyhow fly de. Weather was extremely hot though. Hmmm, i feel like giving up on F3A mannx and just get into normal fun fly planes. My angelS didnt flies like before mannx, sucks totally! What to do, just fly it mannx, fly what i have now, dun wanna waste anymore money. Now im aiming for JH yak55 58", cheap and good 3D plane. Hand itchy liao! LoL!

Later gonna go for PFW BBQ at sengkang. Hope the food is nice so that i can see until im full. Last but not less, i wanna get a good lucky draw prize, hopefully a 3D plane! Hahahhaa..

Hey wads up!

Just finished my dinner and now blogging. Had my last 2 driving lessons today for this month. Completed 30 subjects in just only 16 subjects! Its fast and furious!! Quite tiring driving for 4 hours, but it was just shiok driving. After my last lesson, i went to take a queue number and queue up for the booking of my Traffic Police test. I thought queue was long as theres many ppl, but about 20mins later, its my turn. Cancelled all my 8 other lessons and book 5 other lessons just before my TP test. I booked my TP test on 21 may 2008, and 5 days before the test, i had lesson everyday. Wakakaka! Didnt top up any cash, as my account already had enough money. After booking, my account still left with 80 over bucks, can use this money to book for the instructor i want. Surely car 91, 101 and 136, there are great instructors! Quite sad that i wont be driving till 16 may, hais no more driving for me till then. :( Thats all for now, gtg play SA. Ciao!

ZzzeErro0o Crashed!

Hahahahahahahahahaha! I crashed my zero fighter this morning. It was my old zero fighter, not the nice one just for ur info. This was given by a friend of mine, had more den 20 flights on it. It was my mistake, as i flew too low and too steep, and it went down in knife edge position, left wing made the impact first. Left wing broke into 2 pieces and the head also broke. Electronics was fine, can be used on other plane, planning to get supersonic or fomosa1. Removed all the electronics from the plane and damp the plane into nearby bin and head back home. Hahahhaa.. Pictures follows below...

Oh ya, later will be my last 2 lessons probably for this month. Must drive till i song, LoL!

14th lesson, 28th subjects

WoooHooo, just had my 14th lessons. Completed 28 subjects out of 30 subjects. I was fast, instructor said normally 20 lessons, but i will only take 16 lessons to complete all 30 subjects. Tmr i will complete the the rest of the subjects, got 2 lessons straight, at 3.20 and 5.55. Chiong mannx! After my last lesson tmr, i can book for my practical test. Hopefully the queue is not long and i dun have to wait for 2month plus just to take my practical test. Its late, gd night!

Driving lessons

Today had 2 lesson, one in the morning 8.15am and the another is in the afternoon 3.20pm. Both session was the same instructor and i was driving a new honda city. Its the same car i drove and same instructor on my 3rd lesson, car 136. i think he is the best of all instructor who taught me. He takes his time and effort to teach me and correct my steps. My first lesson today was learning U-turns only, and only manage to complete one subjects. Second lesson was slightly better, i manage to complete 2 subjects. I did crank & S course, E brake and 3 point turns, took me like an hour to complete, and thats only one subject. Next was my summary of my subject, which are U-turns, E brake etc, i was lucky, i manage to complete just in time, if not i wont be able to make the 22th subject. Tmr lesson will be my 11th lesson, will be learning subject 23 which is vertical parking. Hope i can complete 2 subjects in one lesson. GoGo!

This morning i went down to my driving sch, SSDC for my final theory test ( FTT ). Reached there about 10am, went into the test room at 10.15am. After some short briefing, we started our test. There were like 20-30 students. A few of them took less den 10mins to complete and walked off. I took my time to do, after finishing 50 questions, i double check my answers, just to make sure i had answer the correct one. There are some questions which are very tricky. After a long 40mins of test, i click on end test and WOOT, PASSED showed up on the screen. I was freaking happy. Called up my dad to pick me up, and went home... Woot WOOT again for my PASS!!

Then in the noon, i went down to hougang sport complex with my dad to watch my sis play her inter-sch badminton game. My sis from roysth were playing with temasak pri. Didnt manage to watch the first match, my sis match was the 4th one. Game was quite exciting though. Last match single was the most exciting, both were equally good, points were close. The end result were the temasak single won, she is really good!

OkaY now to my zero fighter.
I started painting at about 4+, till now. Been spraying paint and nth more. I forgotten to said that my scheme was suppose to be in orange and red, but rotor didnt have red, so i bought raspberry colour. The colour was not bad, but i would prefer red, it will look nicer. Few hours of my effort, here is it. Hahaha...

Happy April Fool Day FOOLS!

Today went gym with my bro at grassroot club. In the noon, theres not many pple, so its quite good. Gym for 45mins and went to jacuzzi and then bathe. We finished at about 2.15pm, then we head up to the pool room to play a few games. Place was dark, and only 4 pple was there playing. We played only 2 rounds, as i got to go to SSDC for my driving lesson again at 3.20. My bro went home and i went to SSDC to have my lunch. I went to my car on the dot, its great, i got the same car as what i drove ytd, car number 101. Nice car to drive and instructor is good! We head out onto the road straight after the bell rings. I drove my entire 2hours on the road. Awesome mannx! Tmr will be my FTT, haven finish revising yet, gonna revise later and pass with flying colours. Louis You Can Do It! Go Go!

Back home and continue building my zero. What i did today was doing the paint job for the fuselage. It took me hours to do the fuse + horizontal stab, most of the time was masking. Not perfectly done, but i like it. The paint job is only 30% done. Will continue tmr. Opps, and theres the photos of my cowling with my fuselage.

I've got a new project, its the GWS zero fighter! I got it because 10 other GFK members had got it too, so we bought it all together. Some had already finished building, some had already 80& done, im still half done. LoL!

Start of the building... I started cutting the alierons, rudder and elevator flaps, i used a new blade and a long ruler to cut the lines, impress with myself as i had did a nice cutting, not like my previous estarter cutting. Next, i used 5mins epoxy to glue up the 2 pieces rudder into one piece.

I went down to rotor to buy paints and some accessories for mine and matthew zero fighter. Next step was gluing the fuselage together with 15mins epoxy. I used masking tape to hold the fuses together, so it will not move and is glued tight together. Meanwhile waiting for the epoxy to bind, i started fixing up my alierons. I bought hinges from HC, its cheap so i got it. So far, i find it good, better than the one GWS provide. Hinged the alierons and the control rods, i used clone bobsmith foam safe CA from HC to glue the hinges and the control rods.

What i did today was doing up the horizontal and vertical stabs. Firstly i slot in the tail wheel gear into position, it took me quite a while to bend the wire, but finally had the way i wanted. Secondly, i glued the horizontal stab into place, before i glued it on, i aline it with ruler to see whether both sides is in line. Then i glued the stab with CA and accelerator, it holds well. Thirdly, i hinged up the elevator flaps into place, using 2 hinges for each flap. After which, i hinged up the rudder flap and linked it to the tail wheel, not very well done, rudder is not very straight but its the best i had done. Still looks good though. Up next is gluing on the wing spar, i changed the provided one with a longer and stronger one. I cut out the slot for the longer rods and glued it in place with CA and accelerator, hold perfectly well. My wing is damn strong, compare to my old one, it shld be a able to take up high G pull. Happy with it! Also i glued up the landing gear 'holder' with 5mins epoxy, fast and quick job. The left over epoxy i used on the wing spar, not to waste any of it. Lastly, i went ahead to do the cowling. I cut out the shape via the outline. I then tape the whole cowling with masking tape with many layers, because i wanna paint my cowling in a checkers scheme. It took me about a hour to cut out the shape. Finally i spray orange paint on it, and hopefully it comes out nice. If its not, its ok, it still looks better than total black. Will post pics of the result of the cowling soon.

What i did besides building my zero? Basically its rather a short day, i woke up at 12pm in the noon. Played suddenattack for awhile and got prepared to leave for my driving lesson at 3.20pm. Went there myself as my dad not free, he and my bro watching my sis playing badminton match. So i took 72 straight to YCK and walked to SSDC, took my lunch there and head to my car. This time my car number was 101, my instructor was good. And guess wad, i drove my fastest speed today, at 64Km/h. Damn happy with today's lesson, i drove alot on roads at average speed of 40-60Km/h. After a 2hours of driving, my dad came fetch me and we head back home. Thats alll, boleh bla! LoL!

Dark Day

Today's weather doesnt look good. Didnt went to fly because my dad didnt wake me up. Went to saloon and had a haircut, everyone except my mom cut hair. My hair was cut till damn short mannx, sian! Hope it will grow longer before orientation. LoL! When we got it, it started to rain and was a heavy one. I told steven, one of my flying buddy that over at my place was raining heavily, but at his place was not. Soon his place started raining heavily. I wanted to join them flying at tampines ave2, but it was still raining. At about 6pm, steven msg me and told me that his turbine f-18 hornet is on for taxing, i told my dad and we went off straight to see it. Theres already 5-8 of them watching steven taxing his f-18, only know one of them, who is rajoo. Took some photos too. After steven last taxing, we head home and fetch my mom and sis for dinner with my grandparents at their place there. And now im home blogging this. :)

3rd lesson

Today had my 3rd driving lesson and was a great weather for driving, its super sunny and hot. Unlike the past 2 days, it was raining. So far i had done up to 8 subjects out of 30. I still need roughly 15-20 more lessons to finish my 30 subjects before i am able to book my driving test. Before booking, i have to pass my final theory test which i had already passed during my trial test, but thats only a trial. Today, my instructor and car was changed, no longer the pervious one. Car i was using this round was a new honda city, car number 136. It was a nice car, i couldnt resist to take down some photos. My new instructor was really kind, he taught me quite alot of things today. The car i was driving was different from what i drove the past 2 days, the acceleration and braking pedal were very sensitive and smooth. Its quite a nice car to drive, but the power is like lesser. Seat was much more comfortable than the previous one, stearing wheel much more nice and smooth. I hope can drive the same model again next monday. Alright its late, blog another day. Bye..

My 1st drive!

WOOOhOOOO!! Just came back from SSDC AMK. Had a fulfilling 2hours of driving with my instructor. When i reached there, theres alot of ppl. I just follow the crowd, when they leave to the cars, i leave too. My car number for this lesson was 92. Went inside the passenger sit and wait for my instructor to come. He came and start the engine and explain every single detail to me. He also drove me around the circuit to familiarilies with it. Its my turn to sit in the driver seat, my instructor asked me to adjust wadever is necessary. Few minutes later, i start my first move off into the circuit. My first acceleration was a very sudden one, to me its damn powerful. The brake and acceleration pedal are both different in sensitivness, thats y sometimes i had a sudden rush, bur it was just great feeling to drive. Slowly i got the hang of the pedals and turnings. Then after many rounds of circuit driving, i went for cornings, turning left, turning right at junctions and putting on signals to warn others. Fun Fun!! Im not boosting or wad, but my instructor said im potential and he have confidences in me. Was happy with wad he said. However tats not all, i still need to attend at least 25 lessons before im able to book my driving test. This will cost almost another 1.5k to 2k. Gosh!! I suppose to learn only lesson 1-3, but instead i learnt 1-4, advance by one lesson. Very happy with my first attempt in driving. Tmr will be my 2nd lesson, and will be learnt brakings and so on. Will perform my best tmr, and hope to learn more things.

Driving is just pure fun and SHIOK! WOOT!

WOW im nervous today! Guess what!?! Im going for my very first driving practical lesson today. I am in ssdcl AMK, i chose there becoz its the nearest to me. I really cant wait to drive but is nervous about it. Guess im too excited.. Hmmm, i hope my instructor is not strict. I heard from my frens, AMK sch's instructor are very strict compare to other sch. What i heard too was tat there are more crash rate from other sch den AMK. so maybe its alittle better to be strict, but it may be alittle hard to get the license ASAP. But nevertheless, i will still drive my best to get the license ASAP.

Went flying with jackson at the field behind our house this morning. Weather was hot, sweating like crazy even though i was jus standing on the spot. Today's flying was rather suck, doesn't fly the way i wanted. I felt my trimmings are all gone, and my flying is like getting worst. Need to practice alot more, as competition is coming in june. Although im participating for jus pure experiences and fun, i would like to aim for at least a 2nd last place. Practice mannx!

Night fun

Last saturday was fun. Went science center for an aeromodelling event. Get to see many weird planes flying and crashing. There are afew model which are amaze by me, like a toilet bowl plane, a foamy which looks something like a kite, both of them just flies extremely well. But during the demo of the toilet bowl plane, it crashed into the net and hang up high onto the net. Only when the event is over, some guys manage to bring it down. Our event was suppose to be 30 seconds to 1 minute long of flying, but instead of tat, we only flew like for 20 seconds. Nevertheless, we still successfully finished the event without casualties. hahaha... Majority of them felt they had not enough flying indoor, so they went ahead and flew inside the net, with all the hardcore maneuvers. Then we went for a early dinner at west coast market, and we head back to gfk. Got my salary for my events which i've done, got money to spend again. LoL!

What is interesting to me tat day when i was at gfk was the real flight G4 simulator. Michael bought 5 sets of it for airdancer training purpose. They set it up for me to play with it, it was awesome and just simply great. I practice my hovering skill all the time when i was playing, now i felt i can hover alot better. I practice torque roll too, been practicing tat maneuver for several hours and finally got it. Now its time to perfect it, will train more when i go to gfk. At about 1am, we went to bishan for prawning, i think about 10 of us went prawning. It was kinda ex, 30bucks for 3hours per rod, so i suggest to share with weijing. Michael was nice, he paid for all of us, thanks! This was my 3rd or 4th time prawning, and this time was the best, as i had got many prawns. One of them i got was huge, i think the biggest among everyone's. After a tiring 3hours of prawning, we counted the prawn we all got, total was 129 prawns by 10 ppl. Michael and the rest went to start up the BBQ pit and weijing,junzheng,jackson and me slack aside, and it was like 6am in the morning already. I ate only one prawn, as i dun like the taste of it, although its super fresh. After everything, me, jackson and weijing took bus 88 home, the bus is jus outside the prawning ground. We fell asleep in the bus, but luckily jackson woke up and called me when the bus reached our stop. if not we gonna over shot. Went back home, str8 away bathe and went to bed. ZzzzZzzzz....

Today was a tired day.. Woke up ard 12+ in the noon as i slept late the night before. Slack a few hours at home before going out to GFK for a rehearsal at singapore science center, prepare for tmr actual event. Right after the rehearsal, i went down to grassroot and have my regular badminton game with my dad, sis, bro and my dad's frens. Played many games continuously for 2 hours, sweat freaking much. And now im blogging, hmm not much to blog, short day not much stuffs happened.

IT show

Today, i went to IT show with my Dad and Bro. Reached there about 11.30, and all suntec parking lot were full. So the sign direct the drivers to some building for parking lots. My dad then made an U-turn to Millennium Walk carpark, lots of parking lots. And its not far from suntec, theres event a link path to the towers. Before we went to the show and spend lots of money, we head to KennyRoger for lunch. Today is unusual, we ate very little yet very full, food there was not bad. And then went to the IT show. Lots of ppl were already there, the promoters had also started giving away flyers and promoting their products. Theres many many company selling different products and their goodies are all different. We spent about 4-5hours shopping in the fair. We took lots of flyers for references, as our agenda to IT show was to buy laptops. What is in my wish list is Apple MacBook. Yes, i bought a Apple MacBook, the latest one. Its so slim and simple, love it mannx. While my Bro bought a Asus lappy. Got lots of goodies from our purchase. Oh ya, my bro bought a Logitech mouse too, 39bucks only. According to his reviews playing on SuddenAttack, the mouse was great and he had more kills then before. hahahaha...

Way back into S'pore

Been busy past few days, went flying in the morning with Mike, went for dental appointment ( this time i put lime green colour ), went to gym pump my body. And feel like buying lots of things.

Okay now let me continue with my Doha trip. This episode will be about me coming back to S'pore. Lets start!

Right after our event, we went back to our rooms to pack up our stuffs to be prepared to check out. It was already 11pm++, and our flight is 2am, and we are still waitin for the event crew to tell us what to do next, either fly for the last time or check out. A event crew came to our room and settle us AhTong, we were lucky that we willing be checking out. We double check for our stuffs and left the room to the lobby. The event crew was very helpful, he fetched us to the airport. He told us that if we were to get taxi or resort cab, we had to pay alot for the ride to airport. Doha airport was not fantastic but acceptable, went to check it, took our boarding pass and went in. I was lucky that i sat a sit beside the window. Didnt have much time inside the duty-free/boarding area, we just browse around the shop and bought some snacks. Boarding onto the plane was not similar boarding in S'pore, we got to take a shuttle bus to the plane. Nothing interesting boarding the plane, its the same model. After the plane took off, i took a nap soon after it took off, dunno how long i had slept but i had not taken the first meal provided by them. One guy sitting beside me is a malaysian who works at Doha. I had thought of asking to change seat but didnt dare to ask him. I continued to take naps.. About 2-3 hours before touch down, they served the meal, it was quite filling, sorry no pic of it, forgotten to snap. So while im eating my meal, outside the plane is already bright day light. The flight entertainment was not bad, their videos can be played over and over again, they got many musics too. Finally its touching down to S'pore, and the malaysian sitting beside me opened his window. The view was just the best of the best, i can actually see the whole S'pore. Landing into S'pore was fast, the pilot just bang left and continue to fly striaght and landed. Had taken video of the landing and when it was landed, the footage was taken by the Malaysian who sat beside me, as he is nearer to the window. He also took some photos for me upon landing. AND yeah, im back to home, HOME SWEET HOME.

2nd day at Doha

2nd day was just like the first day. Woke up at about 8am+ time at Doha, prepared and went out for breakfast, american style again~ woot! Ate quite alot, at least got 2 rounds. Didnt take any photos while having breakfast except for what i had ate. After a filling breakfast, we head back to our room to rest. Decided to head to gym, swimming after a short rest. 4 of us went to gym, i think im the only one wearing shoes, the rest wearing slippers. Haha.. The gym there is full of facilities, whatever things they also have, they even provide free towel, and mineral water. Typical singaporean, i took back a towel. LoL! After all the sweatings, we went to the swimming for a swim and play around. The water was terrible cold, plus the cold wind blowing into us, it was super duper cold, but we still went ahead and jump into the pool. While we were relaxing, we saw a Mirage2000 took off from the airport, its fast and loud. Hmmm, theres nth much to say about swimming le.

In the noon, we head to the event arena for test flight and cordination. Took off and flew many many cicles, and we are surpose to fly continuously during their arrival of guest, Gosh! its tiring flying cicles while standing. I think what amaze me that noon was the display car of Mercedes Maclaren, Lewis Hamilton's car. Probably an old model one, as it didnt look like the latest model. While we were taking shots of the beauty, theres a guy cleaning it, but we heck care him. His effort was wasted, because rain fall came in the evening. We manage to watch the first show of the rehearsal, its like a dance show. Heard that group is form up from many different country. bla bla bla.... T I L L N I G H T .... We went for the actual event. Right after our dinner, we prepared our kites and get ready for their call to fly. When im flying, i felt that im like just entertaining myself, nobody seems to be interested. However a few guys appoarched me and ask for more info about it. One of them had experiences in flying, so we exchange some of our thoughts. Welcoming the guests by flying is not enough, we still have to fly when they are having breaks, which is 5-10mins each break. As i had mention, its a Vadafone Auction event, which means they auction numbers. People in the arena are damn rich, theres one number bid up to 1million Qatar money, 2nd highest is 900K++. Can buy a house in S'pore liao loh. I think thats their pocket money only. Oh ya, i also had taken a night shot with the Maclaren car, beautiful bodoh!

This number is already 600k, about S$250k.

Shopping & Night life

This episode will be going for shopping at a local mall, night life in the resort as what i had said in my previous post. Lets continue...

Went out to a local mall, City Center, its quite a big mall though, about the size of PS? Roughly there lah... This trip to the mall was arranged by the resort staff, she recommended us where to go and have lunch, at that time it was noon at Qatar while it was evening 6+ at S'pore. We took a BMW 320i, kinda small car compare to the Ford cab. Trip to the mall is roughly 15mins from the resort. Durin the ride, i came to see many things like cars which is not seen in S'pore, buildings and people there. Meanwhile i had also took several photos of building and cars, they are indeed special to me.

The mall entrance was nice, theres a small pond at the side. When i got in, first thing was to snap a shot of it. Also had a shot for the information board, theres two languages, one is english, another is arab i think. Hahaha... Walked around for awhile to find places where we can have our lunch, there are many restaurant on the last floor. Common ones are Mac, pizzahub. The special ones are AppleBee and many more. LoL.. At first we couldnt decide which one to go too, in the end we went to the restaurant with lots of customers. Their services was fast and efficent, which makes them earn more money and fast money. Their food wasnt cheap, i ordered a chicken burger and it was like 15sgd. The stuffs in the mall is not cheap too, didnt buy anything. Saw someone took a high wing plane, and thought theres a hobby shop near by, so we approached that person to ask for the location of the shop, it was just at the corner. We went in and show majority nitro heli and planes, one sentences i shld say, ITS BLOODY EXPENSIVE! Frankly speaking, over there, theres nth cheap.

Now its the night life at Qatar, Doha. Its so freaking beautiful, the building is lighted with orangy lights all rounds. Had my dinner behind the event arena, had my breakfast there too. Food was served by the hotel restaurant, US style. Pics as follow Not much to say here, pls view the photos for more words. kekeke..!

Morning at Qatar, Doha

Once i step out of Doha International Airport, i felt fresh air rushing into my lungs. Weather was so beautiful and the air is clean. A taxi driver approached us asking if we need a ride, yes we did and hop onto his taxi, a Ford Crown Victoria. I sat at the front seat, it was comfortable and spacious. In Doha, cars are all left hand drive while in S'pore its right hand drive. On the way to our resort, i took some shots from the taxi. I took a few shots of the sun, its huge. Do u think other country sun/moon is larger den S'pore one? I think so... Alright about 10 - 15mins of high-G turning, we finally reach out destination, Sharq Village & Spa. Its operated by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Before i alight from the cab, i took a candid shot of the driver, look like some Bollywood actor uh?. Sometime special is the trip meter, its located on the rear view mirror, cool technoloy! During the trip to the resort, i was finding for it, and saw it on the rear view mirror. Hahaha.!.

Okay onces i got out of the cab, theres a door man came and helped us get our lugguges. I couldnt give tips because i didnt have any Qatar cash, as i havent changed yet. While the door man is helping us to get the lugguges from the cab, we went to take some photos of the building and us. Too bad the main entrance of the resort does not have any sign or logo of the resort. The first impression when i step into the lobby was OMFG! it was so beautiful, high class. I felt like a big person inside. Their funitures was just fantastic, the huge sofa for guest was just awesome! its so soft, it sinks ur arse into the sofa. Their resort staff speaks english very well, with US slang. After checking in, we went to their lobby toilet, even their toilet is high class.. We went around the resort and took photos, enjoying the clean air and beautiful scene. Its the most beautiful resort/hotel i ever went in my entire life, trust me its damn nice. Afterwhich, we went to our room, each "house" has about 10 - 15 rooms. Our rooms which 702 and 706. Jackson, WeiJing and i play open numbers so to know who will sleep with AhTong, the unlucky one was Jackson. The room was huge, my room was 702 and its bigger than 706. My room was a king size bed while Jackson/AhTong was twin single bed. Their bed was soft and have lots of pellow, high class one, just like some in movies. Look whats inside the bathroom, its BVLGARI shampoo, body lotion, soup, BRANDED!! After resting for awhile, we went out to the event area. On our way there, we past a swimming pool, took some photos there and while we were taking, i notice theres plane approaching, most probably for landing. We quickly rush to take some photos. Sorry didnt mention that im going for a vadafone event, it kinda a large event. After exploring the event area, we went for breakfast, it was like 6am - 7am in the morning. Their breakfast was American style type, i love it. I wish i can have this every morning.

Branded Stuffs, Dont Play Play!!!

Look! I bring so many stuffs there, its only 3days 2 nights. I brought one extra pair of shoes, slipper, 4 sets of clothing, 1 set for sleeping, 1 set for gym/swimming, all the toiletry from my home, entertainment(laptop,PSP,Ipod). Overkill lah! That brown shoe also mine.. LoL!

Yoo, im back! Tiring 8hrs flight back to S'pore.

First of all, some photos taken in Changi Airport Terminal 3. It was my first time at T3, as well as my family. Took some photos inside the duty-free area, boarding counter and in the plane. We were like in the rush to the plane. Sorry for the blur photos and got no photos of the view from the plane, as im sitting in the middle lane, and even though im sitting at the window sit, i couldnt get any photos because its at night, its so dark.

Touch down on Qatar, Doha it was still dark at 5+am in the morning. And its 10am in Singapore. Landing was perfect, very smooth. After 6am, it broke dawn, and finally get to see the first view of Doha in daylight. In Doha, we alight the plane from a specially built stairs for planes which is something special, i manage to capture some photos of the plane. Onces i got out of the plane, i felt so shiok as its so windy and cool. One thing that is not good, is that their terminal and plane parking area is so far away. We got to take a bus which is waiting near the plane, its about 10mins ride around the airport. It goes around the runway. 10mins later, we reached the arrival hall. And we quene to check out. Yo ppl, i will be flying off tonight to Qatar, Doha.

Been keeping myself busy all this while, so that the time can pass faster for the trip. Will be taking 2am flight, but have to be in airport by 12am. Before going to airport, im going for a badminton game with my family and my dad's friends. Try to make myself tried so i can sleep in the plane. Its a long journey, 8hours flight, and its a night flight.

Just came back from medical checkup at AMK for the NYP. Theres already many ppl there even though its in the morning 9am. They open at 8.30. Did x-ray test, blood pressure test, height/weight, eye test and urine test. LOL...

Regarding my scratch build F16, it crashed ytd again~!.. Dunno what happened to it. Gonna decom it liao, probably build another one.

Yeah! I passed my final theory trial test, 46/50. Below 45 consider fail, lol.. Next will be my final theory test on 2 april and my practical course which i will be chionging straight 10days, 2hours each day. Hopefully all goes smoothly and i can get my license ASAP.

Wow.. Been busy these few days, so got no time to update the progess of my jet and whats happening along these few days. Actually i had finished building the jet on sat night, and had maiden it on sun morning. First flight was a success, thrown by Alex. however, my maiden flight was scary, onces it was been thrown, it tends to roll right and i need to hold on to left alieron, preventing it to crash. After trimming it, the flight became much better and smoother, it quite a nice plane to fly. On the 2nd attempt, i tried to launch the plane myself, split second after launch the plane roll full right and crashed head first to the ground 10-20m infront of me. Luckily the damage was not so bad, the nose session and the wing session broke. Went back home and i spammed CA and accelerator on the broke sessions. It came back to life again. Will try flying it again this weekend.

Oh ya, last sat was the celebration of my bro and cousin, 17 and 3 respectively. Happy Birthday Larry and Asher!

Amazing, i passed my basic theory test on my first attempt ytd. Many ppl took the test, many bangala, middle age ladies and foreigners. I finished my test rather fast, 15mins out of 50mins for 50 questions. But i didnt end the test, i went back to double check my answers. And while im checking, many left the test room, some failed, some passed. one lady beside me failed and she still can laugh, LOL. Hopeless leh. After that, i went to apply for PDL(provisional driving license), advantage theory trial test and lastly my driving lesson, booked 10 lessons. Hopefully 10 lessons and let me take the driving test. Tmr, i will be taking my advantage theory test, so wish me luck. kekeke..

Next sat, i will be leaving to Doha, Qatar for 3days 2 nights for an event. Looking forward to this trip, as i had nva been to a middle east country. Will be leaving in the morning when u guys are slping, 2am. And its a 8hrs flight. Can slp soundly in the plane. hahaha.. Will reach Doha, Qatar at 5+am their time. Their time is 5hrs behind ours. which means theres no scenery for me to see, nevertheless, i will try to choose window seats. Will be taking Qatar Airways for this trip on a Airbus A330-300, QR639. Back on A330-300, QR638, all at T3. Awesome!

What a tiring day today. Went flying with Jackson, Wei Jing and Berry in the morning. Weather was good, calm wind. Got home after 1-2hours of flying, onces i got home, i straight away ask my maid whether my items had arrived, she said yes, i immediately open up the parcel, first thing i saw was air bags, its a great idea to protect the stuffs. Then i saw a turnigy neckstrap, it was a free gift, how good is that. All my stuffs are in good condition, thank you HobbyCity. LoL!

First of the day was soldering the gold connectors and dean connectors onto the ESC. In this order, i ordered a pack of dean connectors, cheap and nice. The connectors are like virgins, super tight. hahahaha...!.. Okay, then i went on to install my motor onto my zero fighter which is given by my friend. Built a firewall for my F16 jet afterwards with a 1/16 plywood, i am happy with it, looks to me its strong.

Last of the day, i installed the servos onto the wing for alierons control. I ordered ez linkage and arms from HC just for this F16. Firstly, i cut out the flaps and trimmed it alittle, so as it will not touch the sides. Second, i glued my Diamond precision mirco servo onto the wing, 3cm from the TE without flaps on. I think this servos is overkill for this, but i had these for spare given by a friend of mine for my birthday present, so i just used it. ITS LIGHT!! Fixing up the linkages was kinda easy, and TA DA!! I placed the servos on top of the wing is because i afraid that if i place the servos below, it might became loosen or drop off went i land, also by gravitational force.

Building continues...

Today, i did the fuselage. First part of the day is cutting the curve shape support, i trace it out from the plan and cut it out. This process is repeated till the last one. I used HobbyKing foam-safe CA(BSI) and Mercury Accelerator, clean and quick job. After doing so, the shape of F16 is almost out, as u can see.

I cut out 2 different length of foam, 2 length each. These are for the sides, up and bottom, to support the cardboard when i bend it to shape, u will see the results later. This is also a simple task, took me 10mins or so.

Okay finish with the structure of the fuselage. Now its time to cut out the cover for the fuselage. What they recommend me is 3mm depron foam, but i couldnt find it from Art Friend, so no choice, i chose cardboard instead. Firstly i cut out the shape of the cover, and i cut the shape out by placing the plan on top of the cardboard is cut it by the outline. There are 4 parts for the fuselages, cut out 4 parts and had cut out some for spare, just in case i destroy the another one. kekeke.. For today, i only glued the bottom covering to the fuselage, as i am waiting for my electronics to be shipped to me from HobbyCity. I will place all my electronics on top. I will need to buy some carbon rods, both hollow and solid for the elevator session and some reinforcement.

F16C scratch build

Hi all, i had been slagging all along. Nowadays, i was kinda bored and thought of building something like planes. So i went online to airplane forum and search for plans of jets. There are many different models to choose from. Finally i chose one of my favourite jet of all time, the F16C. I chose it because it is small and looks good. Okay, after i downloaded the plans and printed them out on A4 size paper. After which i tape them together, so i can look at the full scale of the plan. Like i said, its small. All these stuffs was done yesterday BTW.

Today, i went to Art Friend at Bras Brasah to buy some compressed foam and UHU por. The plan recommend me to buy 6mm and 3mm compressed foam, but they do not have 6mm and 3mm ones, so i bought the nearest one, 5mm ones, got 3 big pieces. And for the 3mm ones, i replaced it with cardboard, hope it works. Went home, settle down for awhile before i start work on my F16 project.

Firstly, i cut out the shape from the plan of the F16 fuselage, following the outlines of the fuse. After which, i transfer the result onto the 5mm compressed foam. To start out the outlines on the foam, i used a pencil to trace the outlines on the compressed foam, spent 5-10mins doing it. After doing so, i start cuting using a hobby knife, just before i cut, i changed the blade, as i want a clean cut. It took me another 10mins though.

Now, after cutting the main fuselage out. I need to cut the vertical fuselage into half, so as to put the horizontal fuselage together. Cutting the lines is rather simple, as its the same job as cutting the fuse, as method. 10mins passed while cutting. Follow after that is glueing the top vertical fuselage to the horizontal fuselage. I used HobbyKing Foam-safe CA (also known as BSI) with Mercury accelerator. I aline them properly and start spamming CA and accelerator. This job is quick and clean. And then, something got to my mind, i think i forgotten to add some carbon rods to strengthen the whole fuse, so i went on to find some used carbon rods, i am luck i had some left over ones and its long enough. So i went on and spam CA and accelerator. At first i glued the first rod on the main wing, then i thought, the LE might be weak, so i decided to glue a thin carbon rod onto the LE, now i felt much more stronger. Awesome! Damn, after that, i found out that the missile thingy are also freaking weak, and i had no more carbon rods left. Few minutes of searching and thinking, i took out 2 ice-cream sticks, cut them inside half and stick them on the side of the missile thingy. I am impressed with my first attempt of my scratch build from plan. Thats all for this, stay tune for the next part.

Okay let start with the GFK year new event.. It was fun and enjoyable! won a few prizes and got 5th in the lucky draw. the most wanted game is the pylon which i am aimming for the first prize which is $200 (changed by GFK), and i got wad i wanted.. WeEeeeE! I can fund for my charger liao.. 2nd place goes to Jackson! I beat him by 7 seconds.. kekkee.. overall it was jus plenty of fun..

Oh forgotten to wish everyone who view my blog a happy new year 2009!!!

In the new year, there was oso plenty of fun at PFW. Early in the morning there were already many pple there flying.. i had only 2 flights as most of the time i was taking video and photos of my buddies flying.. nevertheless its worth it, a memories for 2009. kekeke.. will post the videos i took at the bottom..

Then after, about 2pm, mike fetch me to RMS, a flying club at tuas, i joined the club, and at first i thought it is only $90 for the membership, in the end is was $140. I somehow sian 1/2, but i still joined them, hope to learn more skill and tips from pple from RMS. Then fly till 6.30pm and left the place. Tiring day!

Okay then, its flying time again!!

tiring day~

woke up early in the morning and went for flying, had 4 complete flights, shiok! this time i didnt went to PFW, instead i went to my house nearby field(5mins walk). weather was abit on and off, as in the sun is on and off. But luckily the place where we were flying has a little shade for us. now i have 4 flight packs, my house electrical bills is going to shoot up for sure, and it will take a longer time to finish charging all my packs. so i am deciding to buy a new charging which can charge up to 2 batteries at a time, sounds great uh?! Ya, but its quite ex though..

Hey no worries! This evening there will be a end year event host by GoFlyKite, there will be several games which has prizes, there is one game, pylon racing, the rewards is freaking awesome, 1st prize $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100. I am aimming at least a 3rd place if not better. will post the end result in a few days time when i am free.. kekeke.. and if i got these money, i can get my new charger..

WoW! Its been a long time since i posted any thing here. Being busy this few week, started work nearly 2 week from now liao. Hmmm, so what have i been doing the past month, let start from my trip to HongKong on the 13nov. HongKong was kinda fun, its really a shopping paradise! I can tell u that you can shop till u drop, that me i shop till i fell sick on the last 2 days, terrible mannx! Food in HK is easy to get, food house is everywhere, and its super nice, taste is abit like S'pore. They likes to eat beef alot, in all the menu, u can see beef beef word. Went to their Mac, looking at the signboard or wadeva, i though it was macSpicy, so i ordered, when i took my first bite, it taste like macChicken.. hahaha.. it was called macCrispy.. Special uh.. the rest is similar to s'pore but they do not have curry sauce. went to some tourist attractions, and most of the time is leisure, first night, we went to ladies market, super long pasa malam. besides that there is sport street where they sells alot alot of sports goods, and there is also a electronics street. I can tell you that it is bigger/ more shops den queensway. Its super crowd too. 2nd day, we went up to shenzhen, China. its near to HK, but the environment is totally different, it seriously looks like MIC, made in china. hahaha.. the hotel is huge compare to HK's one. What i do in shenzhen? I went to the window of the world, it a tourist attraction whereby u can see the world. Its a great experiences. and some shows thats all..

Back to HK on the 4th day. still the same, shop/eat/buy/shop/eat/buy... kekeke.. went to hobbyshops which i wanted. many shops there, theres one that is super duper duper close to my hotel, juz walk across reach liao.. hahaha.. But nothing to buy mannx.. took taxi down to someway in the north of HK, and bought 2 gliders and a jet. still building them.. then slowly i got sicked and was very weak to walk about. waste my family time on the last day. If u wanna know more about HK, feel free to ask me, i try my best to ans u.

After my trip, i got myself a job at SingaHobby, one of s'pore largest hobby shop. My job scope is to take photos of products mainly, and also doing some photo editing. kinda easy job, but theres alot of products to shoot, its crazy mannx. been working almost 2 weeks liao, and they gave me a flight key, so if i buy any thing from them, i wil get discount. cool uh..

I am also been flying all the while.. now i am seriously gonna concentrate on my pattern flying le.. hope to get gd result on the coming competition next year.

And ya, my b`dae is coming le, im opening a chalet at downtown east, costa sands resort. If i didnt invite you, dun feel down, do msg me and u will sure be invited. It will be on the 10 jan, 6 to wadever u like to leave, foods/drinks is of coz provided. So i hope to see you at my b`dae celebration.

WoohOO... Exams is OVER, shiok mannx.. Ytd after my last paper, i went for a hair cut and went back home and highlight my hair, after a long time since i highlight my hair.. lol.. i decided to go for 5A2 class chalet, theres 2 ways i can go, with hiekel (taking bus) or with shankar,azfar and haikal riding bicycle, i chose the bicycle one.. went to shankar house and waited for him for about 30mins, like a girl mannx take a long.. Azfar decided to come to meet me. we den cycle to Ave8 bicycle shop for adjustment of our bike.. then we leave for our aloha loyang chalet, LoL. at the first few parts of the journey, haikal had many difficulities riding.. finally almost at the middle of the journey, his tire give way and could not ride anymore.. But luckily my bike have those stands which he can take behind me while i ride.. We took turns to lonbang haikal, the journey from hougang to pasir ris was tiring mannx.. it was raining, all of our shirts and bag are wet.. after about 2hrs of riding, we finally reach, guess wad, we are the first to reach. LoL.. We then jumped into the swimming pool for relaxing, after awhile some of them arrived, and the party begins.. BBQ was like a failure, the charco cannot be lighted up, i think partly is our problems, so we hardly eat BBQ food, so we took some chicken wings and hotdogs to the microwave and heat it up, it was better den BBQ.. Hahahaa.. Thanks to Ah chat and Papat for this wonderful idea.. then we relax in the room, i was playing psp.. and fone rang, my dad called and gonna pick me up, and here i am at home.. Overall, it was quite a fun day.. woot!

Busying studying nowadays, so no time to blog. But today special, i went to maiden my new plane, Angel S 50e. woke up 7am in the morning and set off to woodlands flying field. actually wanted to head down to PFW, but my dad said better not as the runway is limited and i personally think so too. ahahhaa. when we reach the flying field, we saw alot of joggers, so i suggested to go for breakfast. crap mannx, woodlands area is hard to find a food court, keep circling ard woodlands den finally found a place with market and food court. after a heavy breakfast, we head back to the flying field. we were the first flyer to be settled down at the flying point, den subsequently many flyers came. i flown 2 flights on my AngelS, both flight are awesome with super nice landings. Overall im very happy with it. looking forward to fly it again.

got a free plane from my fren. great stuff mannx. condition of this plane is 6-8/10 rating, not too bad for a FOC plane. spent few hrs setting it up, and now its ready to see the sky. might fly it later, hopefully it flys well and hover well. oso this morning i received my big batteries and small ones. when i first saw the big zippy-r packs, i was like W-T-H its so big, but its wad i wan. haha... Left with esc and bec to let my AngelS see the sky. Looking forward for tat day.. Study study study!!!

Nth interesting on going. Jus bought a new plane, Sebart AngelS, a superb plane and chio. But for now only can display and touch it, cannot fly yet. still requires a esc, bec, and after major exams.

tmr last paper for prelims, u think can relaxs? hell no mannx, major one on the way...

Yooo..

kinda boring day..
first 2 hrs in sch, playing psp, time flys damn fast sia.
10.45am, we went to makan, i ordered rice with drumstick, nugget, seaweed chicken, egg, hotdog for $4 mannx, ex. but very filling.
went to class for chem lesson, teacher din came to sch, but we got a piece of worksheet to do, hard bodoh, only manage to finish the MCQ.

den maths lesson...
test again~ today's paper is hard, many of the questions i asked my fren how to do.
but hopefully i can pass lah
maths getting lousy and lousy,
pull up my socks time :D

afternoon class is phys, did practical test on spring thingy.
spent about 50mins doing tat practical, long~
next few weeks prelim liao, first paper is practical test, better do well mannx!

Days are getting lesser, study hard dude!!!

how shld i start?! anyhow lah, haaha..

Went flying this morning, brought 2 planes only, AJX and Supersonic. i reach there and straight away fly my supersonic, becoz few days again crashed and repair so have to test it out. it fly as gd as new mann.. den i fly my AJX, i flew P09 schedules (competition flying maneuvers), after i landed, saw a guy walk towards me and he was RMS's chairman, he was shock seeing someone flying P09 at PFW. Hahahaa.. next i flew SS again, think wad happened to it mannx. It crash agaaiinnnn, under estimated the ground and did a half roll and the plane smack to the ground, kamikaze sia, broke into 3 pieces. after flying went to have breakfast with my dad, ate 3 prata and a bowl of noodle, seibei full. den went home....

Once i reached home, i quickly took a pic of the crashed SS. i started to repair it, took me 30 odds minutes to complete. i took the end result of repairing too, u guy will be shock as it looks as though its new. have to thanks the thingy called epoxy, which able to revive plane. muahahaha...

HeyheyHEY...

Awesome day today.. Played soccer during PE, was actually losing by many goals, end up we won the other team by one goal, muahahahaa... After sch tot of going play bball with wei lei and gang, but the ah goh dun wanna leave early with me, so i din go. went home take a short nap, watch tv and went with my bro to my bro's fren condo to play tennis. Super ke lian sia, only got one tennis ball, played for like 30mins, my bro serve a hard ball, i return it and the ball flew over the fences and down it goes. Then we went to play table tennis, played 2 on 2, kinda fun.

School today is quite relaxing, teacher goes through maths paper, and our english class we did journal. topic is 'wad is my passion...'. kekeke... and sch ends..........

Today suay mannx, went to fly behind my house with jackson, sky is already dark but we still move out way there. We reach there and quickly set up out stuffs, it was kinda windy, wind was coming from every where mannx. Then rain started to pour, i quickly make a turn and try to land it, approaching fast and furious, landed quite hard, broke the tail wheel section. I quickly pack up and ran into the shelter. we rested at the shelter for awhile, and jackson decided to fly in the shelter, great flight he had done. i tot since i came here, juz whack lah, i fly one more pack, not as shiok compare to flying at PFW. After 4-5mins of flying, i decided to land it on the field, and damn, it flew over the field and landed super hard on hard ground, broke fuselage and motor mount, minor injuries. not sad tat i crashed the plane, becoz this is a whack ard plane, no stress plane, i only felt sian tat i had to repair it. Hahahaa.. Went home, someone called me for a chat, bathe, eat dinner, and now im blogging. Hehehe... Bye ppl...
